Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: How Can I Set Up / Send An SMS To Contact Group?
Sep 16, 2010I have an Xperia X10 Mini, and for the first time ever of using a mobile I want to set up a contact group for all the parents of my kids' football team so I can send out a single message to multiple contacts in one easy go. However, I cannot seem to find a way to do this with an X10. On my old Nokia, it was really easy, but having come into the modern world and finally upgraded to a smartphone, I would have thought this would have been a no-brainer! Please, can someone help me!

Sep 17, 2010I was wondering if the X10 can do the same as my last android Hero, which basically link the facebook info contact to my related phone contact, including the picture. I guess this wont need any hardware, but software. Has this improvement being asked or is it planned for future updates?

Aug 15, 2010So today I filmed the kids to send through MSS to their gramps. I used the MMS setting on the camera since the X10 can't edit video (amazing blunder if you ask me). But even with this setting the video gets too large to send. I've tried to change the allowed size in Handcent but that only removes the message about too big a file. The MMS is marked by a red clock indicating not sent. The original app does the same thing. Anybody else with this problem? The phone is rooted now but since so little can be removed after rooting due to problems with other apps I guess I'll just un-root it soon and live with Moxier. It's basically the only major app that can be removed without consequenses.

Sep 10, 2010How do I send multiple SMS to my contacts on Xperia X10? First of all it doesn't give a dropdown list of my contacts So I manually input by selecting the first letter of my contacts names. Only limits it to several, i'd say about 10/12 people. Then when I send the message, in the notification I get a message saying sms failed. Only 2 people seem to recieve the actual SMS. This is really frustrating.

Jun 21, 2010Two Xperia X10 mini phones both set up in exactly same way and on same shared business contract.
Both sat side by side on my desk.
All settings match each other and has been mms enabled by my network provider.
One has 3g in status bar and can send via mms the other does not have 3g in status bar and cannot send mms.
The one with 3g shows up as 'Connected' in Mobile Network State under phone status.
The one without 3g shows up as' Unconnected' in Mobile Network State under phone status.
Have done manual search for the network provider on the phone without 3g to make it think it is 're-booting' to no avail.

Nov 18, 2010I can receive messages but not send them it keeps saying cannot send,Ive looked in the settings and were it says sms message center number i can enter it but it wont save the number for some reason do you think this is why i cant send a message.

However, I'm just presented with 8 silhouettes of face graphics as available "pictures" to choose from. No obvious way to go into a folder where my images are stored. So easy on my old Hero; I must be doing something wrong on this X10.

Nov 18, 2010I've recently bought this phone and imported all my contacts from my Gmail address book. Every contact has at least one assigned category, and some have multiple categories. I can filter my contacts on the X10 Mini Pro, which greatly assists in finding people, but I can't see any way to add a category tag to a new contact. I've looked at all the manuals I can find, and don't see this point addressed. Lots of information about adding photos and Timescape, but nothing useful.
