I have pateren locked my fone and dnt know how to get in. is asking for a user name and password, i have tryed my gmail account and the password to go with it but it says invalid.

i just got a new x10, put a visual lock on and forgot the pattern,tried too many times,phoned locked.keeps asking to sign in i have put e-mail address and every password i would have used and keeps saying wrong password
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently bought a sony x10 phone everything was fine until one of the kids entered wrong start up key 5 times in a row now i cant gain access to phone in any way,does not accept google user name or password,tried switching off for 10 mins taking out battery and so on to no effect.user name and password seems to be accepted online. Also tried to fix problem online using sony Ericsson pc companion which asks to drag down on phone but does not allow drag down.

Orange customer service has told me to get in touch with google, in order to delete the old account [whatever that may be] but there is no number for google customer service.

The password screen locks and when it asks for the user name and password it states invalid user name / password!
Is this a known problem since when I called and talked to both Verizon and HTC the only thing they could tell me was to do a hard reset and they weren't aware of this problem?
I Use Sony Ericsson X10 is block because of too many pattern attempt which is the security to unlock the screen, the phone is asking for a Google account which i don't have because i did not register with Google.

When I try to log in to the SE sync function on the phone, the phone is telling me that I have used an "invalid username/password". I did login and all stuff, but i get error saying wrong password or username. I checked on google.com that it was correct and it is. Now i do not have Internet checked on before it went to locking so i dunno if its the reason that i do not have the internet connection on it.

Is this a great error message. When I retry 15-20 times, it does not work still.
So it goes the the screen where it says type in your email and password to unlock. I don't even remember my username or password. Some people say type "null" but it doesn't work. I'm willing to restart everything can anyone help me to reset this phone?

Can anyone possibly help me in locating a copy that I can transfer to my phone please?I know I can view the instructions online from my laptop or the handset itself but I would like to get them back on the handset just in case, any help would be greatly appreciated.
