When I'm trying to set up the email on my phone, it allways says invalid user name or password. I know for sure that I typed it right , a million times. So what is going on with my phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently bought a sony x10 phone everything was fine until one of the kids entered wrong start up key 5 times in a row now i cant gain access to phone in any way,does not accept google user name or password,tried switching off for 10 mins taking out battery and so on to no effect.user name and password seems to be accepted online. Also tried to fix problem online using sony Ericsson pc companion which asks to drag down on phone but does not allow drag down.

When I try to log in to the SE sync function on the phone, the phone is telling me that I have used an "invalid username/password". I have used exactly yhe same as I used tio log in to the site on the computer, and I have checked it a few times, but it doesn't want to accept it.

View 5 Replies View RelatedYesterday i added a security pattern where you have to fill in the pattern when the phone like starts. I took the wrong pattern and have to login with google stuff now. I did login and all stuff, but i get error saying wrong password or username. I checked on google.com that it was correct and it is. Now i do not have Internet checked on before it went to locking so i dunno if its the reason that i do not have the internet connection on it.

Is this normal or is there automatic feature that i must enable to have it alert me once an email is received?
Secondly, is it possible to set-up a third party email account, ex: Yahoo? I went through the notion of manually enter email account, but was unsucessful. It give me a msg that mailbox access is not supported for some tpes of yahoo mail accounts. Could this be an interference with gmail email, thus causing the problem? Even, using the manually setup option, it still fails to connect to my yahoo account.
I keep my phone in my pocket and I guess I forgot to turn it off before I put it in my pocket for some reason now the default keyboard on my x10 is Korean.I am not sure where I can get it back to English, anyone help?
View 4 Replies View Relatedso hopefully this question/problem isn't as simple/dumb as my previous.I've somehow messed up my keyboard settings or language. the bottom right and bottom left buttons now have some Chinese/Japanese text on them and the bottom left button turns on some alternative keyboard options and changes my text output to Japanese.Now I presumed this was simply something in my language settings but I've set them back to UK and still no joy.I'm also using Handcent sms and the Handcent keyboard ui but that's not displaying either. Tried un-install/reinstall but no luck.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had the X10 a week now, changed the keyboard to and from the stock Android keyboard when I first had it - but now I can't recall how to change it back again (I'm sure someone's been messing with the phone because i've not changed the keyboard in the past few days).
I've tried chaging in Setting > Locale and Text, but its clearly not there...
so im blasted pissed i lost all my pictures, and my setting for my ringtones. I didn't do nothing i just woke up and they were gone. I haven't done the update so i idk wt* happened
At first i thought it was my Sd card but it isn't because i didn't loose my apps. Now i know there's no way to recover my pictures, but i want to know if there is a way to get the phone to work recognize the folder i have so i can use my custom ringtones, alarms and notifications again.I tried the SDcard/audio/ringtones and etc because that's what i had last time and now it isn't work
I have noticed a probable gltich in the timescape, excuse me if I had mistaken. I see that all my accounts(face book,Twitter, SMS) are updated correctly but I don't find the call log and my email view of timescape correctly updated. Please help out to get this corrected. PS I am using the 1.6 version of Android.
