View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my x10 fro 3 days. Love most everything except that most of my hotmail access is limited. What happened? No folders or contacts available. Tried tech support, but they were of no help. Said I needed to use gmail instead. Can't change everything over at this late date. Have archived stuff in hotmail going back years. Did I load hotmail to the X10 incorrectly? Is there a way around this? They may get the phone back.

I spell my name wrong, so want to remove that email account and register a new one, but i can't find anywhere where i can delete it, it just keeps coming up to put my email in. I have deleted the incorrect gmail account on their website.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently as in the past few days I have noticed that new emails aren't giving me the status update/green flashing light as SMS messages are. The only thing I've done recently is re-flashed with the BA20 update and did a restore from Titanium backup of my apps and system info. I am getting mail, but no indicator. I have the account set to check every 5 mins and send and indication.
I sent a test email to my account and went into settings, data sync and synced gmail and the the indicator worked as it immediately found my new test email. I've received several emails in the past few days though with no indication. Any thoughts?
I have a sony ericsson X10, it has a security pattern lock on the phone. However this has gone off in my pocket and now the phone is locked. I can not remember the google email address for the phone and now i can not access the phone. Orange customer service has told me to get in touch with google, in order to delete the old account [whatever that may be] but there is no number for google customer service.

Basically, the story goes as follows...normally when I receive a call I have to do that swipe thing to accept the call, however, at very random times instead of the swipe I get the option of pressing 'Accept Call' or 'Decline Call' which are displayed on the lower part of the screen side-by-side. Now, to be perfectly honest I actually prefer the latter option but do not know why it is so random. To be clear, I have never updated my phone since I got it and I have searched the settings but not been able to locate anything which would explain this.

Googled this issue and can't seem to find the resolution. I am using the Gmail app which came pre-installed on the phone. I have entered my account details, I can send emails but I don't get a notification when I receive an email to my Gmail Inbox. I have checked the settings and I have setup a ringtone and selected the option to flag up an icon in the notification bar. However the only way I know I have an email is if I open the app. I have a task manager and Gmail is on the ignore list.

I changed my unlock pattern and forgot the combination. I forgot the password to my gmail account so I had it reset. My password is correct when entering on my computer but comes up as incorrect when entering it on my HTC Desire.
