Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Too Many Pattern Attemps / Invalid User Name / Password

I have the phone in my pocket this evening, when i get home i get the 'too many pattern attempts' screen, and when i try to unlock using my google account, it fails even i use the right account and password because i can login to gmail from my laptop.What should i do now to get pass this on my phone. as stated above, i try my google account and a password? this works on my laptop, but x10 keeps telling me invalid user name or password. so i type 'null' as the password and it WORKS.

I have just spent ages adding contacts to my account on the sonyericcson.com website and wanted then to sync them to my new phone - the X10. When I try to log in to the SE sync function on the phone, the phone is telling me that I have used an "invalid username/password". I have used exactly yhe same as I used tio log in to the site on the computer, and I have checked it a few times, but it doesn't want to accept it.

I have had this same problem happen twice to me on 2 different phones on 2 different Verizon accounts!
The password screen locks and when it asks for the user name and password it states invalid user name / password!
Is this a known problem since when I called and talked to both Verizon and HTC the only thing they could tell me was to do a hard reset and they weren't aware of this problem?

I just recently bought a sony x10 phone everything was fine until one of the kids entered wrong start up key 5 times in a row now i cant gain access to phone in any way,does not accept google user name or password,tried switching off for 10 mins taking out battery and so on to no effect.user name and password seems to be accepted online. Also tried to fix problem online using sony Ericsson pc companion which asks to drag down on phone but does not allow drag down.

I had an unlocking pattern in my X10 but unfortunately my son played with it in my absence and when i tried to unlock it,its not opening anymore although i use my correct username and password of my google act as advised on the phone in unlocking too many pattern attempts.

when u want to unlock phone before drawing the patten, u need to slide an inverted triangle from left hand to right hand side.so now suddenly the style of moving it became an mirror image.i mean now i have to move it from right hand to left hand.i found this wierd with my x10.is there a way to reset it back to original style

Good evening. Please help me regarding my phone's pattern lock keys. It got locked-out due to many wrong attempts to unlock it. Now, it needs a google id in order to reactivate the phone. I do not have a google id stored on my phone so i cannot reactivate it. What options can I do in order to reactivate it.

First time unlocked using pc companion and update etc, which worked but she lost all her data. Now have tried gmail/ googlemail - still won't let her in. Also tried entering null into password.... still didn't work.
She is distraught. Is there ANY way of unlocking this f******* phone without losing all data and having to start from scratch?

i've blocked my phone via wrong patter entering few times and i found that too many ppl over the Internet had the same problem after phone blocking it request ID and password of google mail, but DOES NOT accept it and gives wrong pass error now i have my phone blocked and i want to have it back worked again WITHOUT factory reset coz i have much important info in there. how can i make it? ps this terrble issue should be fixed long time ago. i check soft updates via phone update function pereodicly but nothing found till now and phone still have the ability to lock forever!

I have managed to lock myself out of my phone as I have entered the wrong pattern in too many times and it is now requesting my gmail account and password. However it does not recognize the correct details and I have tried using the SEUS but that doesn't work either.

My GF recently had an X10 and she set her lock pattern on this phone. Unfortunately, she forgot the pattern that she did so she end up inputting wrong patterns and then gets locked. The phone is asking us to enter the email address (which we did - using the gmail address) but didnt work.Do you have any idea how to fix this.

I was searching through google for my problem with my xperia x10 and I found this forum which should help me! Basically I forgot my pattern unlock and I tried it 5 times and I had to unlock it with my google account. I've tried 2 google accounts and they wont sign in and they work on my laptop! Its been locked all day and its not unlocking!

My son has been playing around with my phone and now when I unlock the phone it is coming up saying that there have been too many pattern attempts and that to unlock, I need to sign in with my Google account. Problem is, not sure what my Google account details are. I have a GMail account but that doesn't work.

User manual disappeared from my XPERIA and it has been to repair two times, no effect. the user manual aplication connects the phone to this site, and again to a missing part of site so no manual again. I have reinstalled the software myself and no effect again.

First of all this is minor Bug, but still - BUG! There is phone configuration description:
Phone: Xperia X10i
FW: android 2.1
patterns - default slider + unlock pattern
Bug description
1) When phone is locked, press home or power button.
2) move slider, to be able to draw pattern.
3) Start to draw pattern and wait till screen goes black (do not remove your finger). So your pattern is not finished and screen has gone black. Try to remember place of the finger.
4) Press home or power button again.
5) Finish unlock pattern from place you was, when screen turned black.
6) Your phone is unlocked!
So, if you did not finished your pattern and your screen have gone black you might think, that the phone locked, but this is not true. Your Phone can be Quite Easily unlocked in the Pocket.

Yesterday i added a security pattern where you have to fill in the pattern when the phone like starts. I took the wrong pattern and have to login with google stuff now. I did login and all stuff, but i get error saying wrong password or username. I checked on google.com that it was correct and it is. Now i do not have Internet checked on before it went to locking so i dunno if its the reason that i do not have the internet connection on it.
