Does anybody know how to sync facebook pics with contacts, even though your contacts have nicknames? I have tried the facebook app "sony ericsson contacts" and it doesnt work. Tried to merge contacts manually on the phone but then my contacts shows their facebooknames and not their nicknames.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have used SE handsets for over 15 years now and never felt the need to seek assistance until now. The x10 mini is driving me mad. I have just upgraded to it on orange. Where has all the functionality for using it as a phone gone? I was extremely embrassed when I was trying to send details of a contact from my address book to my friends HTC handset and failed. No bluetooth file transfer and no ability to send contacts via sms. This so much functionality missing from basic functions: speed dialing from the number pad for example, that I am seriously thinking about giving it back to orange. There are lots of new functions and apps such as WiFi and GPS, maps etc but there is not enough battery life to make them useful in real life situations. I found the old UI on W890i much more polished with lovely touchs on the media player and photo albums. Is android all it is cracked to be?
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I save contacts to the memory card I get a file named 00001.vcf. When I open this file in outlook it seems to contain only the first of all my contacts. Can I open this file in another way to get all my contacts? Is it possible to import all my contacts to Pc Companion? When I syncronize the phone with this program I only get the bookmarks exported from the phone to the program. No contact is exported. I have already lost my contacts once and will be sure that I have saved them correctly.

I have all my contacts saved in international fomrat but the x10 mini does not recognise the number when I get call from a saved contact (number is coming in in national format). whats the story here.

Anyone know how to get small thumbnail pictures of your contacts on your homepage? like the ones you call often. right now its just the little default contact card with the name . HTC Dream was able to show the pictures but not xperia. weird. also while im posting might as well save threads and ask here lol....
I tried playing an MkV video file.. But its very choppy and slo-mo kind of. tried using Xandplayer and something else. no help. is there a best above all media player for x10? i had a VLC player for my old HTC dream that worked fine. I would love to watch my sitcom episodes on my phone.
When i look in my contacts, i see it allows you to have a photo for each person. When i link the contact to facebook, it doesent put their picture on the contact. do i really have to walk around and manually take a picture of each one of my friends in order to have it on my contacts list?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI activate timescape and it took all my facebook contacts and put it in the address book of my phone, and now i can not see my Sim contacts. how can I undo this, I already turn off facebook in timescape, maybe i should delete it for now as i don't use it, i like to keep my phone contact separate from facebook and access facebook only when i need it. and now i can't configure personal ring for the people i have in my phone book, because it took all the facebook information and its with timescape and doesn't have an option to set a ring for the contact in edit part i just can add it to favorites o delete contact. and i still can not see my Sim contacts they are somewhere because when i tap a name in search bar it shows me the contact and phone, but I'd like to see what i have. i already export my contact from Sim to phone but they still don't show.

The problem i faced was wen i synced my phone with my goggle account and imported contacts from a vcf file that i had backed up earlier, all my contacts have same phone number multiple times. I have disabled syncing goggle contacts, disabled showing goggle contacts and just the phone contacts to show... but of i edit a contact and select the option of split contacts.
