I have just got this phone and in the contacts you can pick your own favourites which is great but I do not want pictures I would like to just have a list? Can this be changed?

View 3 Replies View RelatedEarlier in 1.6 after I look for a contact and view it and press back. It used to come to that position itself but now whenever I press back after viewing a contact, it goes back to the initial position of contacts (i.e. the contacts starting with letter A).
Example in 2.1, if I view a contact (say named "xyz") and press back, it takes me to the starting list of contacts but no such problem was there in 1.6 version. That is after I press back, it took me to the same list of contacts I was viewing earlier (in this case xyz,xy** etc.)
Can anyone tell me how to set up a Group Address List. I run a syndicate and need to frequently send the same message to 20+ friends and I do not want to have to keep creating the address list each time. I also need to copy previous texts and modify and again send to the same people.

I open th recent call list and click one of the recent calls but instead of dialing that contact my phone dials a different contact which is different altogather. Initially i thought that I have selected wrong contact but recently I noticed that the contact it actually called was way down in the list that it was not even visible.

Please is it possible for me to browse the internet on my pc using my sonyericsson xperia x10 mini pro. Dont know how cause the phone doesnt support Pc suite, only Pc companion, and hence I dont know how else to do it.

But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.
xperia mini can't send messages to multiple recipients what gives?

It has a problem that every few days or so the screen locks up and becomes unresponsive and the only way to reset it is to do a battery pull. My question basically is should I take it back to the shop, or is it likely to need to have android reinstalled or something?
It did this on the very first startup after unboxing, it froze up when choosing the language setting, so obviously it is unrelated to any other apps i have installed. At the time I didnt think it was too much of a problem but then as I say, it started doing it every few days.

I have 2 very good headsets at the moment from previous phones but unfortuneately my mini pro cannot find them.

Facebook,gmail,gtalk,android market,youtube etc. dont work at all..Each of them gives an error that you dont have an active connection! All of the above does open via the normal browser on mini pro..but not through these builtin apps!

There is no android market icon on home screen so i searched "android market" on internet and using internet browse version.
I can access android market (androidzoom?) and find applicatin, but it says " yo do not have permission to open this page. market://~~~(url)".
I can do nothing without applications...
I can't get any texts! ..I can only send messages, but I can't recieve any... I've been trying to fix it, but nothing works..

View 1 Replies View RelatedKeep getting told incorrect username or password but i know it's correct cause i changed it via the internet. I enabled visible passwords too. It contains numbers which seems to be a problem for the phone as i had the same issue with my google account, i had to change my password to only letters to log in. I don't really want to change my password to letters as it will be less secure. Any ideas?
