I cant save or edit my contacts or add new ones the phone lets me do it then 10mins later its back to the un edited version or just removes the newly added contact.

I have x10 mini 2.1 since I updated to 2.1 any long press on home screen or corner icons goes directly to edit either widgets or icons depending wich screen I have up.This is anoying because many times I press just a little too long and for example end up in the edit icons mode instead of opening messages like I wanted to. Is there anyway to get this as it was on 1.6? Long press didnt open edit, the only way to open edit was trough menu key.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have used SE handsets for over 15 years now and never felt the need to seek assistance until now. The x10 mini is driving me mad. I have just upgraded to it on orange. Where has all the functionality for using it as a phone gone? I was extremely embrassed when I was trying to send details of a contact from my address book to my friends HTC handset and failed. No bluetooth file transfer and no ability to send contacts via sms. This so much functionality missing from basic functions: speed dialing from the number pad for example, that I am seriously thinking about giving it back to orange. There are lots of new functions and apps such as WiFi and GPS, maps etc but there is not enough battery life to make them useful in real life situations. I found the old UI on W890i much more polished with lovely touchs on the media player and photo albums. Is android all it is cracked to be?
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I save contacts to the memory card I get a file named 00001.vcf. When I open this file in outlook it seems to contain only the first of all my contacts. Can I open this file in another way to get all my contacts? Is it possible to import all my contacts to Pc Companion? When I syncronize the phone with this program I only get the bookmarks exported from the phone to the program. No contact is exported. I have already lost my contacts once and will be sure that I have saved them correctly.

I can't see a thing though, but if I write a text I can write a name and details will pop up? What happens?
So I can type a name in ph-no and details come up, but I can't choose the Contact itself ?
Are there any other apps that I need to use as it worked fine in 1.6 ?

I have all my contacts saved in international fomrat but the x10 mini does not recognise the number when I get call from a saved contact (number is coming in in national format). whats the story here.
anyway arround saving numbers in national and international format for the same contact?

I imported all my contacts from old Sim to new x10 phone now I want to use that sim to put in other phone but cannot import contacts to Sim - there doesnt seem to be an option. Very annoying.... View 1 Replies View RelatedI activate timescape and it took all my facebook contacts and put it in the address book of my phone, and now i can not see my Sim contacts. how can I undo this, I already turn off facebook in timescape, maybe i should delete it for now as i don't use it, i like to keep my phone contact separate from facebook and access facebook only when i need it. and now i can't configure personal ring for the people i have in my phone book, because it took all the facebook information and its with timescape and doesn't have an option to set a ring for the contact in edit part i just can add it to favorites o delete contact. and i still can not see my Sim contacts they are somewhere because when i tap a name in search bar it shows me the contact and phone, but I'd like to see what i have. i already export my contact from Sim to phone but they still don't show.
