Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Keyboard Gets Stuck - Not Easily Slide Back
Oct 8, 2010my new X10 mini pro has a nice keyboard but it gets stuck when fully out and will not easily slide back unless I wiggle it up and down until it releases. Is there something I am not doing correctly?

Dec 1, 2010I just love my X10 mini but have problems with mms, if I send it just goes to queue and get message "unable to send" and if someone send me one I just get an empty message and it says to download, and then if I try to download it says "cannot be downloaded". When I go to settings - settings download - choose Tmobile it just says could not download settings. Retry? I've called already to Tmobile support and spent 2 hours with them and they just couldn't help me as they don't know this phone.

Sep 27, 2010It keeps ringing! I had a couple of texts, which I read, then the phone just kept on ringing. Totally bizarre. I tried everything - changing the settings on ring tone etc, vibrate only, nothing has worked. The only thing that works is turning it off & on again (but when I receive another text, off it goes again!). I eventually just turned down the volume but obviously this is not practical. I drove all the way home with it ringing merrily beside me!
I saw on another forum someone else has had this problem, but no solution was offered. I tried changing the ring tone, but even after choosing another tone, it still rang with the other tone, ie 2 different rings at the same time! A friend says her blackberry does the same, and requires the text to be acknowledged. I tried this, even deleted the messages, but no joy.

Oct 15, 2010I wonder if I can change the default settings for my calendar to "no reminder" and also to create an event in my calendar called "SonyEricsson" instead of the calendar named after me (since only the calendar called "SonyEricsson" synchronizes with sonyericsson's server and my other phone). Now I have to change to these settings for every new event I create. And if I forget to change the calendar to SonyEricsson I can't switch it later for some weird reason.
If this is not possible, do you know what else I can do? Explanations how to sync the calendar named after me, delete this calendar so SonyEricsson is chosen as default or any other suggestions are welcome.

In my oppinion, this chinese keyboard is not user friendly and hard to use. so I tried to change any settings that related to keyboard and language but still my Keyboard still in chinese. When I streamed at youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxAHM6epz8U) the Keyboard has an english version (but my keyboard is not the same as in the video above). I googled for a while and found no reference for this. Please can anyone help me or experience the same problem as me? Oct 22, 2010When writing using the keyboard I can not seem to find the way to insert special characters none are available when I click symbol key.
My dictionary is in spanish, but the phone main language is set to english; is this the problem?
If so, it should not be. Messaging should use dictionary and not phone language.
also, is there really a need for limiting character counts when using special characters? (YuS it needs more info, but doesn't the Standard for character representation take care of this)

I upgraded my X10 mini pro to Android 2.1 today and I followed the instructions and the YouTube video EXACTLY step by step.I made a back-up before the update, with the updated Back-up & restore app.Now the Android update is done and i've tried and tried but I can't get my contacts back. Every time I run the restore function of Back-up & restore it tells me the restore is done, but when I go to my contacts list, it's empty.

Nov 10, 2010I upgraded to Android 2.1 2 days ago and I've pretty much gotten most things that used to work working again, but I have questions/problems regarding the new functionality, can anyone help me? Blue tooth: I am able to send photos via blue tooth, but I CANNOT send a song, ring tones, etc which I could do with my SE 850i I bought 5 years ago. Perhaps if there was some kind of file manager application where I could see the file, I could send from there. In my opinion, blue tooth was marginally improved, but still is NOT satisfactory. Someone please proove me wrong! GEO tagging Photos: This is a new feature with the upgrade and I was eager to try it. In the GEO tagging widget it says to enable GEO tagging from the camera menu. I spent a fair amount of time, but I CANNOT find a camera menu or anywhere to enable GEO tagging. Please help! User Guide Gone: When you use the User Guide widget it says the files have been removed. I looked on PC Companion and confirm, they were removed. I copied the files from PC companion back into the .emanual folder on my phone where the files used to live, but that did not help.Still unable to see user guide. Did anyone get this working again? SMS-ing unsaved number: This annoying problem still exits after upgrade. As far as I can tell, there is NO WAY to sms someone from the call log for numbers that have not previously been saved. I often want to sms a number in my call log that either called me or I typed in. The only way to do this is to save the number in my contacts first. Am I missing something here?

Haven't done anything special, more than activated Spotify the last days. So it looks like despite I have Swedish keyboard as standard, the phone suddenly choose chinese keyboard anyway. How can I make settings so the X10 choose standard keyboard as input?
