i was thinking of grabbing a 2nd battery cover and have it painted to match my pc ( so a nice "perlecent /metallic" look )what u guys think?x10, x10 mini, x10 mini pro idc..i could make them no trouble at all will only have to check prices of paints / covers

as some of you (x10 owners sahw it "i hope")i decided to go in "customizing my battery cover (paint/vynil or both depending of what pples ask)here are some chopped version of x10 battery cover... i went with full colors and some i kept a white line through the cover (i would do on other but, didn't have time yet)

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe xperia x10 has a battery which is not user replaceable, now the problem is I have a SE k790i for past 3 and half years and 2 months back the battery was malfunctioning i.e. not giving perfomance and also it had become fat due to which the back cover was not fitting to its place. I m interested in x10 mini but if same thing happens with x10 mini in which the battery is fixed into the body of the phone if it goes fat then either the phone has to break or the battery(which will lead to leak) in both cases the phone will be damaged . . . considering I live in India where temperetues are upto 45 degrees in summer is it a wise option to go for the mini ?

But they seem to suggest a lack of widget support on the device - leaving me in a quandery, I love the widget support of the HTC Hero (and its successors), but am truly tempted by the X10s larger screen, its Racheal/Time/Mediascape UI and camera technology.So far, has anyone noticed support for widgets on the device? Obviously certain widgets are redundant with Time/Mediascape, but news, weather widgets are a big draw for me.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently got an X10 on contract but got so annoyed by the fact that the x10 does not have a calendar as I have to sync with google mail (which i don't want to do). and the phone book is also sync'd to Gmail. I have a gmail account but don't use it that much. I only use it for gtalk with a few friends, 4 to be precise. I am a yahoo mail user. I found the internet connect brilliant and the timescape and mediascape very useful.
I then went on to order a samsung Galaxy S which I had tired in-store and really loved it. The camera is brilliant.. its way better the the X10. 3/4 of the applications on Galaxy i like especially the calendar as it the major application i use. The down side is It's network coverage is so poor. It does not matter if it's indoors or outdoors. the internet connection is so slow other than that the rest is fine.
what i would like help with is whether i can have some of the applications on Galaxy like calender, mini diary, layer,and live wallpapers on the Xperia x10. OR if i can have timescape and and media scape on the Samsung instead. I would keep the samsung and put up with the slow internet connection but would really love to keep the X10 if the above can be done.
Does anyone out there know if there is a way we can get a flash down loaded to ur handset for the camera as the photos i take are coming out really dark. shame really because when i take them outside in the daylight, the quality is Very good. if anyone knows i'd sure appreciate a reply.

It maybe that the glass panel is smashed but at least it is still on to access your data and the touchscreen still works too. I got the X10 mini pro today & so far so good however.The phone is a vodafone handset that has been unlocked. I have a 3 sim card in it that works but i can't access Planet 3 anymore. if i start the web application it will connect to vodafone & vodafone only. Is there any way i can access planet 3 again? Is there a setting i must change?

View 19 Replies View Relatedthe small usb port cover separate from the phone. Mine did yesterday. It's held in place by a small plastic tab which has a barbed end which should keep it attached. I guess with all the charging that this phone requires this little cover gets moved and twisted alot. It will still go back in place but I'm afraid that at some point it will separate and I'll lose it. My old HTS had a much more rubbery cover that always stayed attached to the phone.

The cover art are found in music folder, so why are they appearing in the album. Does the xml file in the top folder of SD card need to be modified to ignore photos in music folder?

I bought my xperia x10 along 1 week It is awesome and blah blah, but theres something wrong with my battery it just doesnt up more than 50%... sometimes 51% or 53% but no more...And even if it is charging it comes down.... I went to the store where i Bought it and they replace with some new, but it is still the same, i dont know if my xperia is bad as well...I didn't wanted to root it because i'm not sure if I need to change it ..... I now have a problem with my battery. A few hours ago, my battery level was around 35%. A few hours later, it remained at 35% indication. Since this couldn't be correct, i restarted the phone. Now, my battery indication was 100%. False again. I turned the phone off. It wouldn't restart. I tried the 'flash device method' by holding back button and putting in computer USB. No help. I tried SEUS. After that, phone switched back on, with false battery indication back to 100%, which is impossible. I noticed that during all this 'fun stuff', my battery refuses to charge. The LED indicator remains green without flashing, the settings screen doesnt say 'charging'. I know that the phone won't charge below 95% battery. So, the phone thinks the battery is 100%, therefore won't charge, and I'm pretty screwed, especially since I fear that once my battery drops dead, the phone won't be able to charge ever since it will think its 100% full.

Customer Retentions gave me a great deal on it (Great deal = entirely 100% free, I figure I really couldn't beat "free" :P) and so I said "Yes, that sounds lovely" (not an exact transcript of my reaction). I now await its arrival in the mail. So I've been pretty damn excited about it. But then I did the ONE thing I told myself not to do: go trolling on the internet for all the negatives. I knew there were going to be negatives, that's the nature of smartphones, there's always going to be something if not multiple somethings. But I have to admit I was unprepared for the sheer amount of complaints over the battery life. Now I'm depressed (not really, but you know what I mean). Did I just order myself a lemon? I mean don't get me wrong, you still can't beat a free phone I suppose, but is it a free mobile phone, or a free "I need to get to a wall outlet so I can charge this thing because it discharged after only an hour and a half" phone, which isn't exactly all that mobile (ok, well it's mobile, just not mobile + useful at the same time -- I admit I was sort of hoping for the latter. Pipe dreams, what can I say).
