Every time i want to write SMS a language field appears and i have to kick it to scroll it out of the screen get to the send button behind it. How do i disable it so it doesn't appear every time?

I have the birthday field for some contacts in Gmail, upon syncing to X10, that field does not come over. in fact, pressing Add field in X10 does not even give me the birthday field. is there a way to Add birthday field?

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe screen on the X10 mini pro is pretty small, but why make it even smaller when texting by taking up the bottom portion of the screen with the language of the keyboard? I do not envisage myself ever needing to change the keyboard language, well except for when I have changed it by mistake, by accidently hitting the language bar that shouldnt be there?

If i change from default English to Lithuanian, no Lithuanian symbols appear, everything stays as it was still in English. I tried changing to Russian, to see if it is just a bug with Lithuanian input, - Russian works fine. Perhaps there are some shortcuts for typing Lihuanian symbols that i don't know?

I donwnloaded & visited the support site, but I couldn't resolve my problems with the instrucctions in the manual From the Home screen, drag upwards. Find and tap Settings > Locale & text > Select locale. Select an option.

Today, I bought my new Xperia 10 mini pro, and happily started wading through the start up process. At the vital moment of choosing the default language for the phone, I was disturbed and chose Polish instead of Norwegian!
Now I cannot find out how to change it back as all the menus are in Polish, and my knowledge of that language is NIL.
Is it possible to get rid of the language option on the message screen? It's too easy to touch and I do NOT want to send messages in Bosnian!
