Nov 13, 2010Earlier in 1.6 after I look for a contact and view it and press back. It used to come to that position itself but now whenever I press back after viewing a contact, it goes back to the initial position of contacts (i.e. the contacts starting with letter A).
Example in 2.1, if I view a contact (say named "xyz") and press back, it takes me to the starting list of contacts but no such problem was there in 1.6 version. That is after I press back, it took me to the same list of contacts I was viewing earlier (in this case xyz,xy** etc.)

Jul 24, 2010Am now onto my second Sony Ericsson Xperia phone, as I am unable to compose a new SMS message. ALthough I have imported all contacts from SD memory card, and they appear in my contacts and if somebody is to call or SMS me their name appears but when I go to send a new message no names appears just lets me type their name but does not allow to send the text as there is no number?
I really like this phone and do not want to have to get a 3rd one or change phones altogether.
SIM card does not work effectiviely either. SOme numbers come up with a search but I almost have to type the full name - cannot just enter say "D" and all names appear under that letter.
Vodafone and Sony Ericsson are unable to provide any further advise as I have completed factory data resets, un and reinstall software updates. Sony Ericsson has said they have not had another feedback like this?

Nov 18, 2010All my contacts have been transferred to my phone (via backup and restore) and show up in the call log etc. But in my contacts menu it says "No contacts" which is rather inconvenient. Any tips?

I open th recent call list and click one of the recent calls but instead of dialing that contact my phone dials a different contact which is different altogather. Jul 1, 2010When I try and send a new message, or forward a message some of my contacts don't show up on the drop down list. I'll type the first few characters of their name and it will bring up a list of the names in my contacts directory but some names are missing so I cannot send a text in the normal manner (I know I can find the contact through the dialler and send a message that way but that doesn't help if I try and forward a message). I've looked to see if there are any strange spaces in the names etc but I cannot fathom out why some of my contacts are missing from the drop down lict in messages. Anyone else have this problem or know a solution?

How do I attach a contact to a text message or an email?
I'm using Roadsync email
How I do it now is: Navigating to the contact I would like to forward, edit it, mark and copy the phone number, paste it into a text/email, write the name of the contact and press send.
Features I also would like to see in the future:
Have the Roadsync application use the "Full Name" field instead of the "File As" field, when syncing contacts with MS-Exchange.

Sep 2, 2010I have noticed this evening that a number of my apps seem to be smaller on the screen.Paper Toss now only fills half the screen, Solitaire the cards are a lot smaller and harder to read. And MixZing, the menu font is a lot smaller.
Could these all just be issues with the apps or could I have done something to my phone? I can't see that it is possible to change the screen res on the phone and I have not downloaded any further applications that would have changed this.
