What should be a good email app, instead of the pre-installed "email" app in xperia.., any suggestions?
i don't like the pre-installed email app coz it doesn't update from email(internet) to xperia..,
e.g., i read a mail from someone using my laptop, then when i opened my "email" app it said i haven't read it yet.., annoying eh?

Basically I use my phone as an alarm to get up for work. My old Nokia N96 I could set the alarm and then switch the phone off at night and the alarm would still go off on time. This does not seem to be the case with the X10i. It doesn't even go off when the phones in airplane mode which is poor. I just don't want to have to leave my phone on overnight in case it rings and i wake up.
Are there any good alarm apps that allows you to turn the phone off and the alarm would still ring at 6.30 for work?
I have set up my sky.com email address as the default email within the function of the phone. All working fine other than I don't seem to be able to import my address book into the phone email function.

I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the default one so only handcent is in use.
Backup & Restore not installed on the x10 I just bought (Neither is Moxier).
Since Backup & Restore is a d/l from SE, not the market, ATT is barring me from even installing it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am currently using a x10i (x10?) on tmobile, i have the data plan ($10), and have my email connected via gmail. however, it seems like i have to do manual refresh in order to get email update. Is this normal or is there automatic feature that i must enable to have it alert me once an email is received?
Secondly, is it possible to set-up a third party email account, ex: Yahoo? I went through the notion of manually enter email account, but was unsucessful. It give me a msg that mailbox access is not supported for some tpes of yahoo mail accounts. Could this be an interference with gmail email, thus causing the problem? Even, using the manually setup option, it still fails to connect to my yahoo account.
I can't seem to find a notepad type program in the pre installed programs. Any recommendations from the Market or where it can be found on the phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI still have the songs I had b4 I've downloaded the 2.1 OS; when I look into the X10 Mini, the "AVAILABLE ROOM" seems to have gotten bigger; but I also have many times in which the phone says: "no SD card found" or "no available storage" and such, regardless all my songs are there(not sure where!), and the "SD and storage" still shows the amount of memory like - Total room: 3.67GB and Available room: 3.11GB; considering I only had about 1.70GB left pryor to the 2.1 OS update!

when i opened it, the contain was all Japanese language i don't understand.
when i install app from droid market, are they install to the phone or the SD card. if to the phone, do i have the option to put them to the SD card? when i connect the x10 to my computer via the USB cable, i don't seem to see the apps. where, which folder rather, do they reside?

I see that all my accounts(face book,Twitter, SMS) are updated correctly but I don't find the call log and my email view of timescape correctly updated. Please help out to get this corrected. View 3 Replies View RelatedChecking out media players, I downloaded Zimly and Mixzing (thanks suze!) to compare. Both installed instantly but only Zimly appeared as an icon on the home screen. When I go to Settings>Applications>Manage applications they are both listed as installed, however I need to have Mixzing drop its icon for me to be able to use it from reviews etc I actually think that's the one I'll be keeping anyway, a clear case of sod's Law that of the two that one would be the one with a problem! I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, same result.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen newly setting up my X10 part of the setup process was (of course) email, so I entered my gmail info. I later set up gmail from the gmail icon.Now, when I receive email it shows in one..I open/read/close and it opens immediately in the other. I don't really care which I keep (although the gmail one is slightly nicer looking) but am afraid to delete either for fear of having it not work at all.
