Anyone know any good apps from Market that are good for basic music editing and play functions for X10? I already use spotify for playlists but would like to do a few other things that are not built in.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who has noticed this, it might not be a big issue (like the MT, 65k display instead of 16M, android 1.6, etc.) but this small details make an average phone into a great phone. My questions are:
1) Rotating from landscape to portrait mode works fine (but sluggish) as long as you rotate the phone to your left, but it doesn't work if you rotate it to the right or upside down, is this hardware or software related?
2) In the same topic why is it so sluggish to rotate from Landscape to Portrait? (again is it SW or HW related)
My Xperia X10 mini is currently completely useless.
The symptoms:
I turn it on and it gets as far as the splash screen which says sony ericsson and shows the SE symbol and it gets no further. No error messages are displayed and it remains in that state until the battery runs out. The only action I can find is to press the power button and the middle button for a second or two to perform a reset but this results in it rebooting and getting to the exact same point. Plugging into a computer to charge up seems to charge it but when the power is sufficient it boots up and gets to the same point. PC Companion asks for me to mount the phone which is obviously impossible as i have no interface.
Possible causes:
Before this happened I put the phone into airplane mode. After doing this it displayed a message related to running out of space. This was strange as i haven't added any applications or even been using it as I am abroad. I deleted some data from a couple of applications that I don't use and restarted to the behaviour described above. The applications were user applications and completely unrelated to the system. Even a master reset if this is possible without being able to boot up the phone?
Anyone know good car mounts? I want to use my phone as a sat nav, but i went to halfords... they all don't fit. I want one that can rotate landscare (safe) without it wobbling or something.

I bought my xperia mini pro 2 weeks ago, and it never be able to install any applications.
There is no android market icon on home screen so i searched "android market" on internet and using internet browse version.
I can access android market (androidzoom?) and find applicatin, but it says " yo do not have permission to open this page. market://~~~(url)".
I can do nothing without applications...
As the title says my phone will no longer download from the market or update anything its weird as it was working OK last week ( don't use it to down load much) but now all I get is update or download unsuccessful please try again. Been trying this in different place so I don't think its the signal.

I genuinely have no interest in certain locked apps - TrafficLive being the most notable. But going to Applications management I'm not given the option to delete, really frustrating. The only thing that I can not figure our is that when I open up an application I don't know how to close them so I am left with multiples of Apps open at the same time. This seem to run the battery down really fast, but I can't seem to find any where or anybody that knows how to close the apps when I am finishes.

I find that everytime I open and application it I can not close it down it just runs in the background. I have tried force stop and that does not work so what is the answer?The more apps you have running the more it kills the battery life. Apple have released one for the iphone so I can not see it being a big problem to have one for the X10 users or I am missing a trick somewhere?

Ok, so I deleted the following things from my phone using Titanium Backup.
- Korean and Danish keyboards
- Moxier Mail
- Face Recognition
- Creatouch
- User Guide + User Guide Client
- Play Now
- Setup Guide
- TrackID
- everything Timescape (8 files in total) *ok, this seems to have screwed up my camera photos and won't read my SD card pictures or the pictures I had taken (except for 2 photos in total). If anyone has the original 8 files and can hook them up PLUS TUTORIAL ON HOW TO REINSTALL THEM, then that would be AWESOME! For some odd reason, I backed the files in Ti Backup, but they aren't showing anymore...so a heads up for people backing the core default files, be careful what you delete. Or are they stored somewhere else that I'm unaware of?*
Also, I'm really looking to get rid of "Voice Dialer" and "Office Suite". Anyone know if removing it will screw up any function of the phone?
Well I've been playing with my playlists and now I have duplicate playlists but the duplicate ones are empty and there is no way of deleting them in the Phone interface that I can see. Any clues?
Also when I try to remove applications using the settings > application manager, none of them have delete or remove buttons...

I downloaded some apps from Market. They all downloaded successfully but I cannot see them when i go to Menu and then click on the 'App' Icon. When i click on the 'App' Icon it says 'To add widgets open the vodafone shop and download your widgets' I already have the apps installed on the phone for sure, just need the shortcuts to appear under the 'App' button.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently bought the Xperia X10 mini handset and since it was unable to download the settings from my service provider, I had to manually do the APN setup.
However, I was successful getting the internet from my handset browser but not from the applications like Email, Gmail, GTalk, Sony Ericsson Sync, and Market. I've got the notification icon for EDGE data transmission and is being indicated when accessed from the browser but not from the applications.
Do I need to do any other setting in order to access the internet from the applications? Can someone please help me setting up?
I purchased an unlocked new Sony Xperia X10 from overseas because I was told it wasn't going to be released in the US. I had been waiting for the release since I had heard about the production of the phone and so I didn't care so much about the price. However, I recently went to an AT&T store and inadvertently saw my phone there and almost punched the first AT&T rep I saw for lying to me. I remained calm and asked if it was possible to get the AT&T software on my phone instead of the Telstra software applications that are non-functional and cannot be removed. They told me, "no, we dont do that, ask sony." Please, someone tell me I can somehow load the AT&T software to my phone, so I can use the applications that came with the phone, like MySync, Downloads, PlayNow, etc.. I spent so much money on this phone, and now it's available through AT&T for $150 with a 2 year contract; I wouldn't feel as terrible if mine could at least DO everything the AT&T one could.
