How do you add someones contact details within a text message, on the xperia x10 mini pro?
when i click on add,the options are add picture, take photo, add video,record video.
if i click menu it just says edit recipients

Is it possible to send a business card via email or text message on the X10. At the moment I'm only able to send it via bluetooth, which is annoying cause the person who I need to send it to is 40 miles away.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen i receive a text message the phone doesnt sound an alert or vibrate, really annoying having to keep checking the phone to see if i have any messages. The software is all up to date, ive reset the alert tone in the notification settings, and im afraid thats all my knowledge used up. Ringtone sound is fine and it also vibrates for that.

Have just got my new X10 - all OK except one thing that is frustrating. Is there any way I can get sms text message tone to repeat if I miss one. With other phones, if an sms is not read it repeats the sms tone every minute or so to remind you there is one waiting to be read - cant see any way of doing this on the X10 - anybody know if this is possible and I am just missing it, or is there an app that does it?

I hope someone can suggest something to help?I occasionally have issues replying to text messages! When I send the messages, I receive a message saying: 'message not sent', even though I have signal at the time. In order to send the message, I have to leave the messaging app (SE default) and go to my contacts list, find the person and send the message as a new message.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have handcent as my default sms app which is alot better then the stock one. When i get a sms i have the pop up enabled (after you unlock the handset). but not to show the keyboard. This works ok but when i press the white square to reply - the text you received does not move to the top of the screen so you cant see what your typing or you cant press send as there hidden by the keyboard. The only way you can see that is when you have finished is to press the back button (that closes the keyboard) and then you can also press the send button. If i have the keboard to pop up automatically when i get a txt....i only see the top line of writing / send button!

I have just purchased the X10 Mini Pro. I have attached a song I have downloaded for my text message notification. The song plays when I receive a message, but once I have read my message the song still carries on playing, it plays until it gets to the end of the song.

If I send a txt to someone who has no signal or phone is turned off I get a message failed delivery report. In my past sony ericsson phones there is a setting you can change so it will try to send for a longer period of time, It is usually found in the text settings but on the x10 mini pro I can't find it anywhere.

The battery life is terrible, fully charged yet went off half way through my shift? What I am have been having major problems with and cant figure it out for the life of me is how to forward a text and delete a draft message? I just cant figure it out! Forward a message? how do I access the names or the phonebook? theres always only the contact that sent me the text in the first place or one i use frequently. and i have a draft i cant get rid of unless i send the **** thing. this phone is so frustrating to me because texting and facebook are my main objectives when purchasing a phone. facebook: when i tap on notifications it tells me constantly there is an error. now i told the salesman in the shop what the main uses of my mobile are and so far I am extremely disappointed with this mobile phone, i have been mis-sold! How do I attach a contact to a text message or an email?
I'm using Roadsync email
How I do it now is: Navigating to the contact I would like to forward, edit it, mark and copy the phone number, paste it into a text/email, write the name of the contact and press send.
Features I also would like to see in the future:
Have the Roadsync application use the "Full Name" field instead of the "File As" field, when syncing contacts with MS-Exchange.
I realize Im not yet a boffin, so pls. be patient with me. how to I retrieve sms 'details'? the date and time it was sent etc? I cant seem to find it as easily on this phone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am from India where we guys don't have branded phones and all. one of my good friends working at Sony Ericsson India told me last night that on 23rd Sep India and UK generic will see the update most probably . update will be ota. about 206 mb and no multi touch no 16m colours , you will be able to store apps to SD card. better timescape widget , live wallpapers,hd recording , no flash light for camera , 5 home screens. another update in Dec which is internally known as 2.1.3 will give single fingers zoom , 16m colors and flash for the browser! x10 will see 2.2 in Feb after the release of eclario also known as x12"
Not sure how much of this is really true as I've already read that the 2.1 update has got 16m colours from an internet source that claims to have had a hands on.
At least it's good to see that SE have implemented the apps to SD card and flash for browser from Froyo to 2.1.
Not really sure what to believe until we have it on our beloved X10's so best take everything you read on the internet concerning the X10 2.1 update with a pinch of salt .
A good review. Even though, the unit they reviewed is a "near final retail" unit, they said it is really fast, only time they noticed lag was in the gallery and it was minuscule.
I was a bit apprehensive about getting this phone because it runs Android 1.6 but it seems like the difference between 1.6 and 2.1 is not that much of a deal breaker.
When i 1st got my x10 i registred my phone with the google account on the menu, well i've forgot my e-mail address with google. Anyway my phone was in my pocket and has locked up asking me to enter my google account details but like i say i forgot the details, didnt think i needed to remember them as i was always signed into the account on my phone, so does anybody know how i can get this sorted.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my phone (X10a) to the computer, I am now getting the message: "PC Companion Installation. Select Start to install PC software on your computer. Your phone memory card will be automatically mounted". Is anyone else getting this message? It started happening at about the time of the minor update but I'm not 100% sure if it happened immediately afterwards. It doesn't seem to be causing any problems. Perhaps it's just the new message one gets when plugging the phone in now?
