Sep 11, 2010right so the bottom buttons were working fine, but the next day, the back button takes me to the home screen :S so if im on facebook, press the back button, instead of going to the previous page. and i also set up the draw thing to unlock it, but as it was raining a little it said i entered it wrong too many times and asked for the google mail thing... but i really have no rememberence of making one, which is so ******* annyoying.
the only way ive found out to solve this problem is doin a phone software update, however as my bottom right button is working properly, everytime i hold it down to plug the phones usb, the phone just starts normally, so basically i cannot do the system update.

Sep 24, 2010I'm getting reports that my app does not work on X10. Got a couple of 1-star ratings because of that, but nobody contacted me by email and I can't reproduce the problem in an emulator. It probably means 1.6 android. Anybody wants to help in testing? The app is a game called Slitherlink (Demo!). I don't know if linking to apps is allowed here.If you can test it please drop me a line. If you manage to get an FC I will ask you to install Sendlog (or any other tool capable of sending a log) and to send me the crash log.

Sep 29, 2010I just bought the Xperia X10, and I've tried to sync it about 10 times. I've updated my contacts onto the SE website, and I'd like to sync them with my phone. It seems to send 2 items, then the sync shuts down and says 'failed'. I'm doing it via wi-fi, not using the 3G network, does that make a difference?

Oct 22, 2010having been notified that my x10 mini required an update I connected to PC using PC companion. The update failed halfway through and could not be restarted (battery was fully charged at start of update).
The phone now will not switch on and only displays a triangle with an attention symbol in the middle of it. I have tried the reset (home button and power on together) and also have tried to connect to PC companion to re-try update, however because the the phone only displays the triangle i cannot connect to PC and therefore cannot load software update. I effectively now have a very pretty paper weight.

Update Service just says my phone is up to date and exits.PC companion says the same thing "your phone is up to date". I read somewhere today that you cantnot update ur phone after rooting it so I tried to repair my phone using PC companion but that failed too. Nov 18, 2010I made a account on the community of sony erricsson so i can sync and update my data from the net.
The first sync of contacts, calander etc was oke.
But since a couple of days i cannot sync my contact with Sony Ericsson, i Tried to connect but always the same : sync failed .
Checked the internet connection and al seems working properly, gmail sync oke, all oke except the sync with Sony Ericcson.Any a idea how to resolve the problem .
Perhaps a setting but seems strange because nothing as changed since the first time.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Back Up Restore Failed On Restore Function
Nov 18, 2010Anyone else had abny issues with the back up restore function? I tried to do a software update, to which something seems to have happened. All i can see for the time being is an update to the virtual keyboard. Anyway, lost apps, contacts etc, so went into the menu on the handset and selected back up, restore. Restored numbers etc to phone book and over 150 number details are missing. The back up utility doesn't seem to have backed up all my numbers. Also, any personal photo's of callers etc have either vanished or the photo's are now against the wrong people. So much for this back up service, it's going to take hours, if not days to try to get the phone back tot he way it was!
