I've already got a facebook account and use it regularly. I can't seem to register the account information on the X10 but I can access my account through the facebook app itself. I've updated the app from the android market and still doesn't allow me to register my account. I keep getting the message "connection failed".

having been notified that my x10 mini required an update I connected to PC using PC companion. The update failed halfway through and could not be restarted (battery was fully charged at start of update).
The phone now will not switch on and only displays a triangle with an attention symbol in the middle of it. I have tried the reset (home button and power on together) and also have tried to connect to PC companion to re-try update, however because the the phone only displays the triangle i cannot connect to PC and therefore cannot load software update. I effectively now have a very pretty paper weight.
right so the bottom buttons were working fine, but the next day, the back button takes me to the home screen :S so if im on facebook, press the back button, instead of going to the previous page. and i also set up the draw thing to unlock it, but as it was raining a little it said i entered it wrong too many times and asked for the google mail thing... but i really have no rememberence of making one, which is so ******* annyoying.
the only way ive found out to solve this problem is doin a phone software update, however as my bottom right button is working properly, everytime i hold it down to plug the phones usb, the phone just starts normally, so basically i cannot do the system update.
I am not able to sign in to facebook on timescape ,I am already signed into my facebook on my xperia but when i try to add my account on timescape it gives me a message " Authentication failed..

On wifi, everything works, but I can't seem to setup the APN or use the appropriate information. View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to geotag any photos I take with my Xperia X10 and have the phone set up to do that. When I display the photos on my phone and examine the jpg information. I see the Filename, date and data for Latitude and Longitude. However, the Longitude data is always misreported (showing 1 degree and 53 minutes greater than true). When I transfer the photos to my PC and examine EXIF meta data using PhotoME (and other similar software) the correct Longitude is reported. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I have emailed Sony but don't expect to hear from them until the next millennium.

Got a couple of 1-star ratings because of that, but nobody contacted me by email and I can't reproduce the problem in an emulator. It probably means 1.6 android. Anybody wants to help in testing? View 15 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else having trouble staying connected to "Wi-Fi"? I am having 3 problems:
#1: For some reason, my phone will show the connection and 10-15 minutes later, the connection is gone. Nothing changed, the router is like 2-4 feet away and it is a "G" router.
#2: The other problem I am having with the Wi-Fi is the indicator will drop off of the notification bar, but when I go to the settings, the Wi-Fi is highlighted like it is connected, but there is NO connection stated under the Wi-Fi setting.
#3: The Wi-Fi will drop off of the notification bar and when I go to the settings the Wi-Fi indicator is highlighted indicating active, but again, nothing under the Wi-Fi stating what the connection is. So I choose the same connection it has been using and I connection will state it is out of range, when in fact it is 2-4 feet away, again, nothing changed. So I reset the router and it will try to obtain a connection, but says it is unsuccessful, however, the network states under the name that it is "Remembered". So I highlight the network and than I get a Disconnect. This is really becoming an irratating issue! It worked fine first 2 days and than bam, starts to go crazy. So is anyone else experiencing this issue?
I could not get on the net whilst at football, no 3G symbol. That might have been how i left it but my friend sat next to me with a very old phone got the net straight away?

My sync wont work with sony soft ware due to email not existing to a current account or pass word is wrong, Niether are due to I can log in via my pc no problems
My second new issue since the so called up date is my wifi keep looseing it connection and unable to connect again even though the passwords not change and the single strength still the same.
My point is are othe people having similar issue and is sony aware and will the soft ware update pos when ever they are going IF going to happen pos sort this out.
