2 e-mail accounts, both set to check for new mails every 30 minutes. However, after the first day, where it did pick up mails throughout the day, now I have to do a manual refresh to see new mails. Anyone else having the same problem?

I am currently using a x10i (x10?) on tmobile, i have the data plan ($10), and have my email connected via gmail. however, it seems like i have to do manual refresh in order to get email update. Is this normal or is there automatic feature that i must enable to have it alert me once an email is received?
Secondly, is it possible to set-up a third party email account, ex: Yahoo? I went through the notion of manually enter email account, but was unsucessful. It give me a msg that mailbox access is not supported for some tpes of yahoo mail accounts. Could this be an interference with gmail email, thus causing the problem? Even, using the manually setup option, it still fails to connect to my yahoo account.

View 10 Replies View RelatedPreviously my Xperia used to turn in by itself while charging i figured it out as an Intelligent Charging Circuit system,then i updated my phone and it stopped turning on while charging, even after 2.1 it is not resolved.although it stops charging when its powered on and fully charged but it dont when its off it neither stops charging nor turns on by itself, is it a problem if it is how can i resolve it.

Recently I had issues syncing contacts with Google, Fb etc and I had to do a factory reset of the phone. Since then I've following issues so far.
1. Incoming calls are getting rejected automatically
2. Silent, Flight mode are missing when I press the power button
3. When I'm in some application and if I press the Menu/Home button, it does not take me to the home screen and nothing happens
4. Windows can't detect or install the drivers for the phone, even if I do it through the 3rd party sources windows still doesn't show it.
I have noticed a probable gltich in the timescape, excuse me if I had mistaken. I see that all my accounts(face book,Twitter, SMS) are updated correctly but I don't find the call log and my email view of timescape correctly updated. Please help out to get this corrected. PS I am using the 1.6 version of Android.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi had to turn off the settings for the Mobile Networks MMS and data because it automatically connects to my provider and I am being charged and this usually happens when I touch on Timescape. I just dont know if its connected though but after doing so, after sometime my Messaging system prompts me up a message saying that there was an error (android.system.mms) and it needs to fore close and then after that all of my messages were automatically deleted including the message updates in the splines. I already went to the Service Center and the only thing they told me was it will be okay once I have updated to the new version which is the 2.1.

I later set up gmail from the gmail icon.Now, when I receive email it shows in one..I open/read/close and it opens immediately in the other. I don't really care which I keep (although the gmail one is slightly nicer looking) but am afraid to delete either for fear of having it not work at all.

I have moxier set up to flow through my webmail account and it woks pretty well. I was also using K9 for my personal email prior to 2.1 update this past weekend. I have been trying to add an email account to my phone through the email button.I have also tried using K-9, but still no luck.I have added my gmail account with no problem, but would also like to add my yahoo email address.There seems to be a facility to do so.I have put my yahoo address and password in to the appropriate section, but the next page asks for my 'Username'.Any idea what the 'Username' means?I have tried putting in my yahoo email address, both with and without the 'yahoo.ca' bit, but I get an error message saying 'Setup could not finish.Username or password incorrect'.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Xperia x10 mini pro today and so far I have noticed that my email doesn't update itself, I have to do it manually but it seems like the phone should be able to do that. I use a hotmail account on my phone and I would like to know if the email can update itself, if I have to wait for 2.1 to have this problem resolved or if it's just something that I'm missing. And sometimes the phone will say "Does not connect" when I do try to update it but it hasn't done it in the last few hours. In addition, there isn't any change in my real email account. I could read an email on my phone and still half an hour later that very same email will be considered new and unread. Is there any way to solve these issues?
