I'm using AWD launcher now, but I would like to use the "contact list app" from Helix. I can't find the shortcut, anyone knows where it is? Also I noticed once that the xperia x10 as another player besides the "mediascape", but again, I can't find it anymore, so frustrating.

I was wondering if the X10 can do the same as my last android Hero, which basically link the facebook info contact to my related phone contact, including the picture. I guess this wont need any hardware, but software. Has this improvement being asked or is it planned for future updates?

View 5 Replies View RelatedEarlier in 1.6 after I look for a contact and view it and press back. It used to come to that position itself but now whenever I press back after viewing a contact, it goes back to the initial position of contacts (i.e. the contacts starting with letter A).
Example in 2.1, if I view a contact (say named "xyz") and press back, it takes me to the starting list of contacts but no such problem was there in 1.6 version. That is after I press back, it took me to the same list of contacts I was viewing earlier (in this case xyz,xy** etc.)
Isn't it possible to add facebook pics as profile picture on contact list? When i try to add contact picture all i can choose from is pictures already on my phone..
View 5 Replies View RelatedAm now onto my second Sony Ericsson Xperia phone, as I am unable to compose a new SMS message. ALthough I have imported all contacts from SD memory card, and they appear in my contacts and if somebody is to call or SMS me their name appears but when I go to send a new message no names appears just lets me type their name but does not allow to send the text as there is no number?
I really like this phone and do not want to have to get a 3rd one or change phones altogether.
SIM card does not work effectiviely either. SOme numbers come up with a search but I almost have to type the full name - cannot just enter say "D" and all names appear under that letter.
Vodafone and Sony Ericsson are unable to provide any further advise as I have completed factory data resets, un and reinstall software updates. Sony Ericsson has said they have not had another feedback like this?
How can you text and add a contact name/number from your own list of contacts. do i need a "send business card" app.

I open th recent call list and click one of the recent calls but instead of dialing that contact my phone dials a different contact which is different altogather. Initially i thought that I have selected wrong contact but recently I noticed that the contact it actually called was way down in the list that it was not even visible.

Does anyone know how to set a custom shortcut for pics so that you can go to that rather than open mediascape or whateyver other player you use to view them. sometimes I think it helps to have quick access to them.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI wonder if someone has the same problem on X10. If you press sub menu button, then press Add, then Shortucts, then Applications and you will see Camera icon for shortcut. When I make the shortuct, it appears of course on the display. When I press the CAMERA ICON, the phone just restarts it self?
And how to solve this? I did the Android update, but it said the update is not necessary. I also reseted the phone but still same problem appears. Second problem: I connected to WiFi, immediately and everything was ok. The next day I tried and I Could never connect again to any WiFi connection?
Is there a way to put a shortcut on the main screen for the battery level? I have been unsuccessful so far. I don't think the shortcuts option will let your drill down that deep to place that specific shortcut on the main screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThis is silly and I must be missing something! Go to "edit" in contacts, then press on the 'blank' picture, which takes you to the "add picture" window. However, I'm just presented with 8 silhouettes of face graphics as available "pictures" to choose from. No obvious way to go into a folder where my images are stored. So easy on my old Hero; I must be doing something wrong on this X10.

View 6 Replies View RelatedAny contact previously synced using "facebook sync" (an app to download peoples faces into your phone's address book, now a built in feature of 2.1) Are missing after restore of backups. keyboard VERY slow and unresponsive/laggy during landscape mode. To the point of being un-usable 3g, or "H" in this case is sometimes slower, and often unresponsive, requiring a reboot or task kill. Sending icon blinks, but no recieving icon.

when opening the phonebook and are about to sync contacts to sim, I dont get the Option as mentioned in the manual. I only get the Copy from sim, sync etc. How come? There must be some way to copy contacts to sim
