I really get mad when having X2...why cant see Chinese word message?
I had search everything in the phone but I really cant get it...anyone know how to fix it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am a no-ob cause i got the phone yesterday. anyways, I find this phone/system pretty weird as there are settings for Chinese input but there is nothing about switching on Chinese keyboard in the settings where u turn in on or off. is it because my phone has install in the euro edition? and how can i get it so i can type Chinese as i need it sometimes for business.

I now can't change it back as i don't know what it says. Can somebody please talk me through it step by step? I can get onto the settings page but need guidance i.e 2nd option down then 3rd down etc.

I'm generally happy with my X2, but just got an annoying issue going on and cant find any documentation for it. I was chatting in MSN and somehow clicked some buttons by mistake. It activated somesort of word-guessing-system. I'm sorry, I don't even understand what it is. But basically it will popup a small bar where it asks to Add word? or something. I thought its spellchecker or something like that.. Anyway, I don't remember what i pressed and there is no option in MSN for it. Using Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I was using my x10 when it was only 1.6, when you typed a letter using the android keyboard, it would give multiple word suggestions (ie. i - is, it, in, etc.) which helped a lot. But with 2.1, if I turn it's word suggestions, it only provides me with proper names or contact names. Any way to allow 2.1 to use word suggestions other than these proper/contact names? I don't like the default keyboard. Can no one help? I don't think I'm the only one with this problem.

Before it was easy to highlight a typed word, double tap on the word, and then respell it or change the capitols. Now it´s very difficult to make that action happen and I find it easier just deleting the word and spell it again.
This is, for me anyway, less user-friendly than the 1.6 version! I´m hoping that this will be solved in future updates or if anyone of you experts out there have a solution. Changing to other programs as "handsent sms" is not a solution for me!
I've changed the keyboard to Chinese, to see what it was like, but don't know how to change it back to the Android keyboard (the symbol for changing input doesn't appear to be there any more).

e.g. let's say i had sent out a text stating; "Hi John, I will be at yours next week - you can email me at berty@bassett.com if you need me to bring anything"
so a few days later I'd start a new text. By the time I'd wrote "Hi" the system would offer me the next word as "John" - it had kind of learned what it thought I might want to say next. This was incredibly useful when entering email addresses into form pages.
Now, when I type "Hi", it offers stupid suggestions like "Hit, High, Hill" and other completely unrelated junk.
If I enable predictive texts, it auto fixes words that don't need auto fixing. I sent a text to my sister saying "lolzalot" and by the time I realised what had gone on, it had instead replaced my word with "locally"
Why is this new way of doing things so poor compared to the old 1.6 way? Or at least, how can I get it back to being like it should be.
the sony erricson experia 10. But i am dmub founded on how to forward message on it once I received it.. now I am not dumb in the us eof phones, but probably lost in technology?

Can't seem to find where to turn this off. Called Rogers and had no idea.
Have just got my new X10 - all OK except one thing that is frustrating. Is there any way I can get sms text message tone to repeat if I miss one. With other phones, if an sms is not read it repeats the sms tone every minute or so to remind you there is one waiting to be read - cant see any way of doing this on the X10 - anybody know if this is possible and I am just missing it, or is there an app that does it?

I hope someone can suggest something to help?I occasionally have issues replying to text messages! When I send the messages, I receive a message saying: 'message not sent', even though I have signal at the time. In order to send the message, I have to leave the messaging app (SE default) and go to my contacts list, find the person and send the message as a new message.

Other people on other networks like O2, Virgin, T-Mobile etc are fine its just Vodafone. I just want to know whats wrong and why it matters for 3G to be on seem as its just a text message.

I have a cool sound set for message notification (something like "Message arrives"). However, in the setting, there are only Phone Ringtone(for incoming calls) and Notification Ringtone(for both message and alarm notification. Therefor, when I do something like plug-in my phone to PC, the message ringtone is played, which is quite annoying. My question is that is there any way to set the separate sounds for message and alarm notifications? (maybe an app)
