View 13 RepliesHow long of a video can I take recording at 720p?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I recorded some videos yesterday, assuming it would record in 720p by default. However when uploading to YouTube, it would only allow up to 480, not giving the option of 720p playback.
Well today, I noticed different resolutions. Is 1280x720 the 720p resolution? If so, then I may have figured it out myself.
Has anyone tried using the EVO 4G lens on their Galaxy S?
Macro Lens Attachment
It was mentioned that the diameter of the lens is 13 mm, which is about the diagonal length of the little square on our Galaxy S/Vibrant. (Captivate has a round lens, so you guys should be able to glue on the metal ring easily) So we might have a bit of problem attaching the metal ring that comes with the macro lens. I really do want a wide angle lens for my phone though. I can think of plenty of use for it. (I know about the DVD lens DIY, but I don't happen to have a old DVD-rom lying around at the moment.)
I need an application for google android that record the sequence of user actions as macro and playbacks when required. I searched on google and found that this utility is available for window smart phone but could not found for android. Let me know if this is feasible and how we can do this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this has already been posted here, I couldn't find it if it has, but here is a cool video sample recorded on an Epic 4G in 720P.
It might not wow everyone, but it looks better than the samples taken by Engadget. The audio pickup is awesome! And the video is so smooth I didn't know the video was being taken by the Epic until he mentioned it.
I'm really looking forward to this device! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsUUi0MTrb4
Last night i was recording a video and got a call, i did not take but the video stopped, is ther a way not to take it and keep recording? thanks 4 ur time.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is TouchWiz/OEM software getting in the way, or a limitation of Android 2.1, or what. But when I try to upload a video I've taken, it's forcing me to upload using WiFi. My 3G connection is not too bad (approx. 75 kilobytes/sec), so I wouldn't mind waiting a couple minutes for a video to upload, versus buying a WiFi AP for home, setting it up, taking up space and electricity, etc.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've tried a few but all of them had to stretch or resize in some way or another. I was wondering if there was a great piece of software out there that could optimize video for this lovely screen. I heard samsung was in the process of making one for its "itunes" program but nothing else besides that.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm just starting to use the video camera in my vibrant. Overall the video quality is excellent but sometimes when I'm doing indoor shooting, the video has an orange color overlay. Occasionally this will correct itself to a nice natural color part way through the video. I was wondering if this might be due to some automatic color adjustment that I'm not aware of. Has anyone else run into a similar issue?
The HD videos from the phone play very poorly (slow, jerky) on every media player I've tried on my Windows XP computer including VLC and WMP with updated codecs. Converting the .3gp files to .mpg or .wmv format produces a low quality video.
I am new to this phone and so far so good.Working things out and getting it set up like I want it. I have two photograph widgets on one of my screens, one set up for newly taken pictures and one set up for newly shot video. The only problem is, I don't know how to change the default video save location. I am using the astro file manager and have seen that all videos and pictures save into a file named DCIM on my SD card. How do I change this to make it save pictures and videos into different files?I have made a different file for my videos and manually moved them into the folder but the phone is still saving new videos to the same old default place.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am looking for video recording example, it suppose to be in api - sample but not available. I am wondering if 1.1 release still missing this feature?
If it does support then in which format and where is the example. Also I am trying to figure out MP3 encoding long ago but still no solution. I have recorded an audio ()which is in AMR by default, how can I convert it in MP3 (any external package I can use?)
Is the Evo supposed to be auto-focusing when its recording video? If I have just the viewfinder and no recording going on, it auto-focuses whatever I point it at, but when it comes to recording, its not auto-focusing at all. It just stays blurry.
View 1 Replies View RelatedDon't know if anyone knew this but if you download the LED Desire light from the app store, use the app first to leave the LED lights on and go to your video recorder. You can now record video in the dark and have somewhat clarity with the LED lights on. Granted it would probably be a big energy waster, but atleast you know have a choice.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAccording to official specs recording is present but does anyone know for sure if it's 720p recording?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWell so after over a month that i had the phone and i didn't really have the chance to record in the dark with low light, so what better place to try it then Las Vegas, anyways i uploaded the video from the laptop quality will get better but right now does look crappier then what it really looks but i have to go work early morning so i need to go to sleep, let me know what you think either here or on the video comments btw if you go to youtube page it looks better i believe YouTube - bartender on the rio hotel and casino

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs video recording supported in 1.5? I got it mostly working with the Haykuro 1.5 ADP image - the video file was legally formatted but didn't play properly.
With yesterday's official 1.5 images, it doesn't work at all.
setVideoEncoder() fails,
with the wonderfully informative error message
"setVideoEncoder failed".
Is there any way to pause the video recording function? I've looked all over the net and can't find an app or a reason why this feature seems to be missing from all Android phones.
This is HD recording and could potentially replace low end video units. Seems like it should be unnecessary to use an external video editor to get a vacation video in one piece.
