Well I updated with the official 2.1 but behold when i try to load joeys recovery it refuses to open the bin file. I want to install a custom rom built from his site to remove all the bloat and install live wallpaper etc.
I have been reading for 2 hours and I can't find a fix.
I even tried downloading an older version of swupgrade.

I just install the Android Backup from Sprite Mobile and I did a back of my cell phone. I tried to open the file on my home computer to see my call log and I can't open a SBF File. Is there a program that I can open this file with and read and see my information. If not is the a way that I can convert this file in a word format.

when i try and download odin downloader it is saved and when i go to open it it says that "windows can not open this file" then it gives 2 options of use web service to find correct program and select a program from a list of installed programs. The file is downloaded as a .rar file if it matters. This also happens when i try to download the newest kernel.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAll of the tickets are electronic tickets (pdf) saved in my gmail, and I thought I would be able to open up the files and just let them scan my phone. Yet when I tried to open the file, it pulled up the PDF viewer app and then told me it wasn't able to open it. Why is this? I also just tried saving the attachment to my sd card from the gmail app and open it from there, but I couldn't figure out how to save an attachment from an email to my phone. Any help here would be great.

I have yahoo and there is a pdf file attached to one of my emails. Sometimes I can finally answer before it goes to voicemail, sometimes not. When I test it by calling myself, the phone rings for the caller 3 times before my phone starts ringing, the screen goes dark, and it finally vibrates, not rings, but the time the caller has heard 5 rings.

I tried to find it listed in the list for ringtones to no avail. I've also checked a couple of different options but the phone is set to the voice announcement by default. Please help. I've tried rebooting the phone, unplugging/replugging the usb from the computer and phone, debugging mode on/off on the phone, and clearing all of the device entries from the Windows registry. Well, after 2 calls to customers care I am still getting the same error. I have full internet access, data capability and even setup my gmail account as the email to use. I can send and receive email/sms/mms, calls, etc... Anyone else have something for me to try before returning the phone to Sprint? (it was purchased at BB).
