Does anyone know how to fix this? It'll come on and just stay at the Samsung logo screen. It's not frozen because the logo is glowing on and off. But it never gets past that screen!

We just swapped my wife's Fascinate it for a new one because it was buggy on her. Got the new phone in last night and all seemed to be going well. She used it until the battery was gone and plugged it in. Well, I just powered it on and got this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just done a nand backup, then unrooted (downgrade), then used Unrevoked to root and did a nand restore. Btw that took forever! Anyway after it was said and done the phone rebooted, and viola everything was back on there. The only hitch is since I have done the restore my phone has shut off by itself 3 times. I was ever so reluctant about doing the whole Unrevoked process and this is why. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Update: It hasn't turned off since after the third time so I guess it's stable now.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI rooted my Desire HD succesfully and had no problem flashing roms and learned a little about rooted device abilities. However, no matter which rom i used, when trying to power down the phone it would power off and boot into clockwork mod. I could never actually power the device off. I now have a Note 2 that i would like to root but I am worried I wont be able to power off my Note.

But I installed Nonsensikal 13.2 about a week ago, love it, and was about to basically settle on this as my default rom until Saturday. Starting Saturday my phone has become non-responsive about 5-6 times. Meanin the lock screen won't come on, and the power button will not turn the phone on or off.I'm assuming this means that the phone is still on when this happens, because if it had just powered down randomly I'd think the power button would turn the phone back on I have to pull the battery out and power it back on to start working again. I don't have setcpu or autokiller running, but I am running juicedefender (in case any of that is helpful for anybody.)

Like with the Hero we had to install Handcent and disable the standard sms to stop it from draining the battery. Is there anything like that you recommend to be done?

I would love to try out the Samsung Moment, but don't have the $$ to just go out and buy one.My hero comes with all it had when new, plus I have an extra battery for it I will add to the deal. This hero has only been used for about a week, and while using it, it "lived" in my Blackberry Tour holster to give it maximum protection. There are no scratches or rub marks on it, never been dropped and I have reset it to Factory Specs via the SECURITY MENU and the ESN is clear and ready to be activated on your SPRINT account.Please email me at sy@rayzel.com if you are interested. The only ones I do get are my work ones and that's connected directly to the Exchange server. I have a total of 4 emails being sent to my phone, My gmail, Hotmail, and 2 from my website exile-designs.com. I have the settings to check every 15 minutes but I never get any. Anyone have any idea's on this? I know the settings are right for sure on my Hotmail because I can pull that one up and see my old email's sitting in my inbox. The other 3 accounts should all be fine as well.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAnyone in the Central FL area that would be willing to help me root this phone? I just got my moment 2 weeks ago. I tried rooting it today by following what seemed to be fairly simple instructions but when I went to do the recovery part, I got this message..."Samsung PST MFC Application has stopped working". I tried going thru the whole process again while phone was still plugged in but I kept getting same msg. When I unplugged it and tried turning it on, all I would get was a pic of a phone, a question mark, and a computer. I had to hard boot it. Once I did that, it was on the 1.5 version. I had to take it to the fix it shop to get the upgrade and my contacts back. I'm very scared to even try this again myself but I want it rooted so bad! I want to be able to use it as a modem for my laptop.

It seems to be a phone-side problem, because it is only rectified when I reboot the phone, but not the PC. The last time it happened was after an incoming call disrupted my PDANet connection. When I hung up, the USB icon was gone, and I had to reboot.

If I go ahead and reset to the factory settings with the CL14 update still be on my phone or do I need to redo that part again? Resetting is about the only thing I can think of or taking it into the store.

I just want version 1.6 on the moment so I can get the WGN Radio app. The phone says it's running firmware version 1.5, and I get a "cannot connect" message when I try to update firmware, so what do I do? Am I stuck with 1.5 until 2.1 comes out, or is there a way to get 1.6?

View 5 Replies View RelatedPlease, I need help flashing my Moment. I have all the drivers, the CDMAs programs (CDMAworkshop and UNICDMA). the problem is that the programs doesn't read the phone. I put the phone in DM Mode manually but the programs just connect the phone port but say that the phone not answer when I select read.
the carrier is Centennial Wireless Puerto Rico.
