I installed aHome and set it as default home but anytime I try going to the Home screen it says 'ahome has crashed and my only option is to 'Force close'Now I cannot use ANYTHING in my phone.I mainly need help with how to make the normal home the default home without doing anything, or any alternates to uninstall aHome. Help please.

I'm loving the lay out of the phone but i cant seem to download any of the widgets that are in the ahome console?
This morning I had a system update waiting for my on my G1.... It took quite some time to download just like the last update (Cupcake).. now I am having problems loading my phone.
I have the aHome application installed and I use that as my primary operating system (if you can call it that).
Now when my phone restarted after the update downloaded, it keeps giving me errors such as:
"The application aHome (process mobi.bbase.ahome) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
The application Messaging (process mobi.bbase.ahome) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
These errors repeatedly pop up and will not let any of my desktop load up or will it let me get into the system settings menu.
What should I do?! I've spent too much time customizing my phone for this friggin' update to just come along and destroy it all...

When I click the home button it just goes straight the the default home, and when I go to manage my home apps it doesn't let me choose clear defaults, it is grayed out.

Every now and then, maybe once every other day?, when I press Home, it asks me which home screen app to use. I always click on the one I want (dxTop) and check the box that says use as default. It remembers it for a while, but it'll forget again.

I went to the Sprint store and a service center and both agreed mine was overheating so I am getting a new one. One person at Sprint said they were shipping with 2.1 but the other seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. Does anyone know? I would assume that they are, but it is a pretty recent update.

I have found a few on the Market but so far none are filling the bill as to what I need. Basically I have a little hearing loss so prefer basic tone type ring tones rather than a tune or clip from some song or movie. Funny but I kinda like the ring tone of the old standard phone ringer. Can someone suggest something on the Market or some other alternative? I suppose it's as easy as downloading anything using my computer and sending it to my cell phone and using it from there.

I tried to find it listed in the list for ringtones to no avail. I've also checked a couple of different options but the phone is set to the voice announcement by default. Please help. Its all black, and just says ME: Other Persons name: no avatar etc. Anyone know if theres a way to show the contacts avatar/image just like the Hero? I hate to install handcent for functionality that basically already exists by default. I Know it doesnt have popup's etc like handcent, but unless theres another app out there? Problem I'm having is that the default music player app likes to compete with it. When I use Bluetooth (Ford Sync) the music player app likes to start automatically.
