Samsung Moment : Way To Change Pattern Lock Background?

I'm using a rooted samsung moment running froyo... if that makes any difference... but ya here's the situation... I have my background in the phone set to what I like... and I like that i see it/them when using the normal swipe unlock. they are not always what you would call appropriate. I already have and use the "LockPattern OnOff" app for situations like work where i don't want anyone getting into my phone, but it still shows my backgrounds there as well.... which could be a bit of an issue depending on who picks it up.. Is there any way anyone knows of to have the background different for the pattern lock screen but not change the normal lock screen?

Is there a way to have the slider Lock screen come up before the pattern lock?
I would like to slide unlock then enter pattern.

We recently purchased the Moment for my daughter, she has had the phone for 2 days. It seems she does not remember the lock pattern and we have not signed up yet for a gmail account. We have tried holding the left and center button then holding the right after a battery pull but when the progress bar comes up(grey) it goes a little over halfway then stops, it never finishes. I have done a search and came up with nothing else. She has 2.1 if that helps.

I would like the pattern lock screen in my S2 to show my live wallpaper (or a different lwp) instead of a regular image.The new S3 pulls this out easily. How can I have this in the S2? I. tried several launchers but they do not change this option.

For about a year I was using an HTC Desire with Android 2.2.1 Froyo. Here I was using a default pattern lock screen }by default I mean native, not any app from Market). On this screen there was the background I had set for my home/lock page and also there were some other information (time, date, battery status when charging, etc.).
Yesterday I've (finally) bought an HTC Sensation XE (in USA known as Rezound) which has Android 2.3.4. Here on pattern lock screen there is no background, only a black color and also no other info as I was used to with Android 2.2.1.
Do You know if there is some setting or workaround to just have a normal background image I have set for my home/lock screen or is this option totally gone here and the black is only I can get?

when you enable the pattern to unlock you have to do the htc unlock first and slide down which reveals the pattern. Is there a way to just make it the pattern?

I own a ZTE Crescent- Rooted/CWM recovery running CM7.
I was messing around with using CM9 and I like it but it isn't up for the kind of usage I'd like to use it for so I went back to CM7. One thing I really liked about CM9 was the pattern lock dots- On ICS they are a lot thinner and look slicker, whilst on GB they are thick and bulky and I dislike them.
So my question is; Would it be possible to flash a zip in CWM to change the pattern lock dots on my device? Or any other method?

Was wondering If anyone knew a simple way to change the lock pattern on the lockscreen? I'm not a fan of the stock lockscreen and wanted to change it, if possible. I've tried lockbot and lock 2.0 but it's really hit or miss most of the time.

I just deleted the gallery application that comes with the phone (i dont know what i did it... ), and now i cant change the lock screen background.
When i try to do it from the configuration panel, it says "La application configuracion (proceso com.android.settings) se ha deterino inesperadamente"

What happens if I enabled the pattern lock by updating the setting LOCK_PATTERN_ENABLED, but have never set a pattern? I would check, but I don't want to reset my phone (I don't see a way to clear the lock pattern). Does anyone know?

I rooted my Samsung Fascinate. Installed Titanium Backup and managed to uninstall some bloatware.
I would like to remove the text "Verizon Wireless" from my pattern lock screen and replace it with my name.
When I rooted my HTC Eris and loaded KoasFroyo I encountered a similar situation where that ROM made it say Team AndIRC. I was able to do what I wanted by replacing eri.xml.
When I try to use ADB to push that same eri.xml file to my Fascinate I get an access denied error. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Any guidance would be appreciated. Since the phone is locked I want my name available on the front in case it is ever lost.

This was pointed out earlier by someone on a thread and I couldn't seem to find it. But just to point it out again the moment can be turned off or put on airplane mode even while its locked. This may be a bad thing if someone steals your phone and you want to use someones phone to either call or text it so that it will ring to find out who has it. All the thief has to do is put it on airplane mode or turn it off to deactivate ringers, sound, and gps.
Is there an app or option where I can use a passcode to unlock the phone rather than the pattern?And is there a way to track my phone through gps just in case it's lost or stolen?Any ideas or suggestions if a device someone rely relies on a lot is lost or stolen? My friend on his moment was able to add a message on the home screen saying "If found please contact "phone number" "email" and will be given a "$300" reward.

I just got this phone last week and I absolutely love it. I came from a blackberry and of course I was used to unlocking my phone with a PIN instead of the pattern (1st android owned) that this phone has. I was wondering if there is a way to have that option in my SF. I hate the pattern, I checked out the market and there is an app for that but the reviews were horrible. If this is even possible on this phone yet or I have to wait on the upcoming 2.2 update and yes my phone is not rooted.

New to Android and new to this forum. I've converted from a blackberry and I can't tell you how much I love my Captivate. Well, enough of that :-) I have a few questions. I currently have my display set to time out after one minute. When I'm using the music player is there anyway to prevent the screen from locking. I have having to unlock it to switch tracks.
As a side, is there a way to change the locking system from a sliding pattern to a number code?

New Samsung Moment owner here. I am coming from a Blackberry, and would like to receive my email as it comes. I've learned through the forums that turning off Background Data on the Momemt saves battery life. I've done that. I've also left the Auto Sync button checked (Gmail, Calendar, Contacts). However, my email never comes unless I physically go into Gmail and press refresh. I don't get it. While I love the many features of this phone, I am really missing my Blackeberry . Any suggestions, or is this just the way it is?

I have found the solution to unlocking you Samsung Moment in event of a lock out (not referencing unlocking to switch carriers)... This refers to a lock out...
Incorrectly enter the wrong pass code enough times, your phone now ask for an email address and password? Says your info is invalid... Called Sprint but they're no help (I know, I've been there)...
I messed around with it and figured out a solution to regain 100% total access and unlock your phone completely so you can access it and take full control again... Put things back to completely the way you had them entirely before your lockout... It'll be exactly the same as it was before you locked yourself out. No flashing, no restoring factory settings, no lost data or apps, no hassle, same phone... Just the way you had it!
Sprint still doesn't even know how to fix this... but I do!

Based on what i read here yesterday, i went and had an update done at the Sprint Store to help my battery life.Now a coupla things:my google calendar background is BLACK now. =( random, but i don't like it. Why would that have happened? Can i get it back to a white background?
Also, my browser is all wack. I can't sign in to yahoo....things aren't loading properly, Facebook isn't working, it's all very slow....Is this connected to the update?And another question: I just attached my USB cord for the first time, but my computer (macbook) is not detecting the phone.
