Aug 24, 2010Is there a hidden setting somewhere where I can tell the phone not to charge when I plug in the USB data cable? So, please charge when I plug in the power adapter, but please don't charge when I plug in the USB data cable. The reason I'm asking is because with all of experimenting I'm doing, trying to get my USB PC to phone connection working, my battery is being overcharged. Yes overcharged to the extent that the phone has even popped up a message once or twice telling me to disconnect, that the battery is fully charged.

May 7, 2010My mother has the Sprint Moment, and for the past couple days her battery has not been working properly...she keeps her phone plugged in, however her phone does not charge. The battery remains below 15%. Today she even went to Sprint and got a new battery, but the problem persists.
Any ideas? Could she just have a lemon of a phone?

May 19, 2010I called HTC and told them my battery will not fully charge unless I plug & unplug my phone several times. They said there wasn't a hot ticket about this issue and offered me a replacement battery. I suggest everyone call them and let them know this is problem. 8664498358 I refused the battery as I do not believe it is the issue. I told the rep that I just wanted to make the issue known. I suggested everyone call to let them know there are several people with this problem, not so you can try to get a free battery. I also called Verizon to order a spare battery, then I ordered a separate battery charger from fommy.com to deal with this issue until it is fixed. Shame on you to those who thought they could "steal" a battery from HTC.

I charged my battery for 16 hours and it died within 30min. and not just the low battery warning the phone shut off. Ive tried the car charger pluggin it into my computer and the wall charger and the longest it has lasted is 1 hour. havnt really downloaded anything other than a task killer to see if that helped. 2.pandora sounds messed up. All other music apps soumd fine but the bass is messed up coming through headphones or a stereo.
3. The button on the headphones tha came wih the phone does nothing. Why is it there?
4. No 3d games. I had an iphone with a 400mhz processor that ran games, why did I upgrade to something that can onlybplay games like tetris and bejewled.
5. Sometimes my phone just randomly shuts down for no reason and will reboot to the screen where it shows the android screen.

Feb 11, 2010I've had the Moment for about 1 1/2 months. At times, it seems as though the joystick is "stuck" - it moves the cursor all around (sort of like the center mouse on a laptop). Sometimes it will move around the screen, move from one screen to another, move the cursor when typing, etc... It makes the phone unusable. I've looked in a bunch of forums and haven't seen anyone else complain. I normally have to remove the battery and boot it back up and everything starts to work again. I had a zag on it, but removed it thinking it might be the problem (it wasn't). The Sprint store was zero help (it didn't happen while there). Is there a way to disable the joystick? I'm tempted to just take the phone apart and remove it.

Problem I'm having is that the default music player app likes to compete with it. When I use Bluetooth (Ford Sync) the music player app likes to start automatically.
Anyone know how to tell it to ignore the music app? I know it can't be deleted.
