Why i get the error message on camera on samsung galaxy s . ive only had the phone a week. its charged ,battery taken out , put back in switched off and on . have only got 24 pictures saved. its driving me mad.....

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've just downloaded my mp3 library to the phone (using the mass storage usb connection method) and when I try to select "artists" as the way to select music to play I get this error "Not enough space in the Music database" in the header of the phone and the player shuts down. Any thoughts on what I can do about this? There's 9.5 GB of space on the internal sd card and 2.2 GB of space free on the external 16 GB card.
View 17 Replies View RelatedI recently flashed the resurrection remix v1.3 ROM with siyah kernel v3.1 and have been experiencing a problem with sending sms messages regardless of messaging app.
When i type the message and hit send my phone keeps losing signal and displays the message :
"Currently cant send your message.It will be sent when the service becomes available".My mobile data is enabled but still no change.
I tried flashing ROM and kernel again but the problem still persists. I am able to receive sms messages but cannot send.
My camera stopped working. When I click my camera application I get the message "The application camera (process com.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again". It's just a blank screen?

It does not happen on every message, it is pretty random. I have to resend it 2-3 times before it goes over. This happens even if I have full bar with 3g.

any insight? I would try to remove the email and start again, but the message pops up so quickly I cant even get to the setting icon.
I just switched from AT&T to sprint and I am having a hard time downloading SMS messages. I can send them but everytime I hit the download button for a message I get an error message saying that download was unsuccessful. Does anyone else have this problem? Could it be because I am a new customer and this is the first day?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSearched the forums on this and found nothing - when I'm recording video after a few minutes I always get a "recording failed" error message. The video recording is there, but I have to start a new recording if I want to continue.
I'm recording at full resolution (not MMS) to the OEM external SD card. The card itself has over half its space left, so I'm not running out of room.
Anyone else been getting the "network error" message while in the marketplace? I usually hit retry and it comes right up, but what gives? I have seen it more and more with this phone...

I've tried to open the camera, and a message pops us saying "Low Battery" and then the application automatically closes itself. Any way around this?

I recorded one video that was about :30 seconds and took two pictures. Now when I open my camera I get a "warning low memory" message. I checked the sd and phone storage from the settings and its showing 1.68gb available? also when i go to gallery i cannot look at pictures or watch the video I recorded.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOkay -- so I finally mustered up the courage to root and try a lag fix. I rooted using the unleash the beast files. And then tried the lag fix over at XDA found here: xda-developers - View Single Post - [UTIL] One Click Lag Fix 2.0
I ran the lagfix_ext2, like the forum says -- it took about 10 minutes to do some things ...There was an error message in the middle saying that it had to stop the process. I said okay, but the process kept working, finished, and then rebooted. It booted up, and I downloaded quadrant again (it was gone for some reason), ran it, and only ran an 895 -- this is 16 points less than what i ran just using the unleash the beast. Should I try the lag fix again?
Alright so i am trying to get the Evo keyboard up here on the captivate but i keep getting this error message

I have a captivate. When I compose a text message the persons number initially shows up as the ten digits. Now when I close out of the text message and try to go back and serbs something the persons number shows up as only 7 digits. When I try to send a text with only the 7 numbers I get a return error message saying
8852662 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number.
I just got my Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant from Bell, and I am not verry technical. I have some (maybe 10) additional apps installed since i got the phone, including advanced task killer.
My issue is this: when I get a new message, it appears in the blinds (the thing at the top?) like it is supposed to, but after I check the message, it stays there, saying I have the new message. I can clear it and it goes away, but shouldnt it dissapear after I check the text?
I also crash frequently, but I am thinking newer firmware will fix that
You know how when taking a photo you can set it to the camera to "self shot"... how can I do that with video?
