Samsung Galaxy S :: Software Which Allow Me To Have A Video Call From Phone To PC?

Maybe someone can help me. I am living in Europe and travelling quite often. So far when I was going abroed I have talked to my girlfriend using my notebook (wifi connection and using skype video call). Using the video call I was able to see her, talk to her and the other way around. Now as I bought my first smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S) I would like to do the same thing without taking my notebook to my travels.
Is there any software which will allow me to have a video call from the phone to PC? I am asking about software which work on Android 2.1 and support front face camera on the phone, so I am able to see her (and she can see mee) while talking to her!
I do not have Froyo as in my country there isn't original update yet. And I would rather wait for the official update.

I've been using Nimbuzz and fring to make a voice call but fring does not support skype anymore and Nimbuzz somehow mutes itself. I wonder what other BH2 users use to make a voice or video call. If would be really helpful if someone can let me know. I'm in a long-distance(9000km) relationship.

Samsung Galaxy SIII Rooted and for the most part can't not receive or answer a phone call.
The android.phone stopped on me. Verizon is my carrier I use for the phone.

Often during my calls I can hear a call waiting tone (double beep) but when I look at the screen there is no parallell call? Am I hearing the other persons call waiting or is it a glitch in my phone? I had this issue on every ROM, 2.1, 2.2 and live in Sweden (if it makes a difference)

From the Greek guy that recently compared Super Amoled vs Amoled vs Lcd....
He says that the 5mpx camera is excellent in day but in dark places without the flash it is not very good....the 720p is nice but he is not impressed.

Is it possible to have an application open that allows you to send and receive video calls from people using Skype on their PC's, laptops, macs etc?
Using a front camera?
ie Galaxy S (in some places), or iPhone 4 (although I'm sure this would go against their policies..)

It seems like my Samsung Behold2 the call drop ratios is extremely high, call drops out of no where and sometimes I have seen full bars on phone but still calls get dropped. Another issue that while on the call the other parties voice will stop coming, the phone will be running and shows the call timer on as well, cannot end the call if this happens, the dialers just seems like hanged. only thing to come out from this issue is either take the battery out or somehow manage it to go in airplane mode.

When connecting my Galaxy-S to the Samsung Kies software, my telephone shows up with an incorrect telephone number. I did change the sim-card (and subsequent number) since first using it, but I never logged intio Kies with the old sim-card.The phone is rooted.How do I get Kies (or my Samsung phone) to show my current telephone number?In the phone properties (Menu, Settings, About, Status) the same wrong number is shown.When calling, the receiver sees the correct telephone number. So the issue is not operator related but telephone related.

I know the screen can show some really great images and videos. I want to know what format the videos should be in to get the best quality. I moved a few hours of family guy from itunes to the phone, its in mp4 atm I am sure. And I just had a standard did to video converter off the internet.

Is there a better video player application which is free in the android market? The thing i dont like about the stock video player is that it doesnt sort my movies and videos. For example, i made folders for my series and my movies. after it scans for media, it shows ALL my videos in bulk... not grouped by types. I used the gallery application and the Gallery app does a better job...but is there a free application that sorts out movies as as good as itunes for the iphone?btw, this is not a major issue and it is less than a minor inconvenience Im still very much happy with my phone

After using both the EVO and SGS for weeks, I find the SGS inferior to the EVO in very few ways. The most major one that it being a 3G phone, the Internet speed is of course slower than the EVO's (I have 4G in my area, Los Angeles). I enjoy watch Youtube and SprintTV on the EVO as both the resolution and streaming experience very good, however after watch the low res Youtube on the SGS a few times, I can't make myself watch it under 3G anymore (wifi is better but still not as good as EVO on 4G). But since we can consistently get over 1 meg on 3G, why can't the SGS do better in Youtube video playback? Is there any program that can trick the phone in thinking it is on wifi and playback in higher resolution?

I have had my Samsung Galaxy S for just over a week now and have almost got to grips with it!
One thing that is annoying me and that I can't seem to change is the call waiting option. I have set up my own call options and they work fine - what I am having problems with is when I call someone who is already on a call - my phone does not tell me that I am waiting. I have always had this with my other phones without having to set up or do anything - how do I manage this on teh Samsung Galaxy S? I am with Vodafine and have Android 2.2 Froyo.

Why is it when you are talking to someone and you get a call waiting, the person you are initially talking to, also hears the call waiting alert as well. I don't think thats right.

1. After closing a call i get options to either call again or sms. its annoying, is it possible to remove it?

Just bought my Galaxy S. Although it is a great phone, the video playback is slightly jittery. Doesnt matter if I view a hd video over all share, youtube video or a playback of a video captured off the phone. It looks slow, and the sound seems out of sync with the video.

I've tried a few but all of them had to stretch or resize in some way or another. I was wondering if there was a great piece of software out there that could optimize video for this lovely screen. I heard samsung was in the process of making one for its "itunes" program but nothing else besides that.
