I think a great feature would be able to cable up to a printer and print documents. Can this be done on android now? This would be a great feature, maybe use openoffice.org for docs and down load drivers for printers?

Did anyone else see the article on how to print from your handheld to a printer...from anywhere? Uses dropbox. I didn't see a thread on it. I've got it working fairly well, although it doesn't seem to work for Excel files at all, and I do sometimes get a debug error. How to Print Files from any Mobile Phone using Dropbox?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a way to print Office Documents from my phone. I have a WiFi printer. Currently using OfficeSuite Pro. But it has no printing provision that I can discover. So far my workarounds are.
1. Transferring the file from SD card to PC. Opening the file and printing from there.
2. Attach the file and email to myself. Open the attachment and print from there.
I would like to be able to send the file directly from the phone to the WiFi printer. I saw some print apps in the market, but none seemed to do Office Documents.

They want to register a control using an Android device, and when they are done print out a certificate to give to the business directly. Is there any way to do this from Android? I have seen Bluetooth enabled printers, but is there a way for my application to use these? The only thing I could find on the web was an app called Print Share, but this only sent items to print to a network-connected stationary printer. Printers with built in support for Android also just prints photos. I want to print for instance a PDF directly from my phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the last 3 weeks, I've found that Chrome To Mobile has stopped working for my Chrome browsers on mulitple desktops, to multiple devices. "Print" requests on the Cloud Printer Beta page show my requests, stuck in a perpetual state of "Queued" ... until I delete them.
Deleting and adding the devices hasn't worked. Neither has stopping and restarting Chrome sync.
There is a free (to try) app in the market called PRINTERSHARE that allows you to send any print job from your EVO to your home printer over the web (no usb required). As long as your home computer is on, you can be 100 miles away and send a job to your printer. The full version is just $4.99 and a steal at twice the price.

I've been following this phone and can't wait to get it. But, this feature is OUT OF THIS WORLD! They have a function called Layers and in this example the phone uses real time data and the phone's camera to show REAL TIME data on your screen through the camera using GPS!

By console I mean the standard place you would expect to see a System.out.println() in a normal java application. So if you ran the java application from the command prompt then you will see the println()s in the command prompt or if you ran the program in eclipse you will see it in the Console tab at the bottom.

All the others basically just wanted to save SMS as text and it looked like something you just type up in Microsoft Word.
What I'm looking to do is save and/or print off text messages the way they appear on your phone. With speech bubbles and all. Almost like an image I guess. Kinda like a screen shot.
Is this possible? Or do I need to screenshot and crop the messages bit by bit. I've tried multiple apps and I can't get the result I'm looking for.

We are using Android as an embedded type of system and want to get it to work with the Brother mPrint MW-120 printer. This is a compact, battery-powered thermal printer. It connects over USB. It seems like a great fit for an Android device, so we can print receipts, barcodes, labels, etc.
However, I can't find any information on doing that, and I couldn't find any Linux drivers for this printer.
Does anyone know of any app that would allow me to sign documents?
