Samsung Fascinate :: How To Save Pictures From Internet?
Oct 14, 2010Is there a way to save a picture you see while searching the internet to your phone or SD card straight from your phone? I've tried looking into menu options and don't see a save option. I've tried holding down on the photo to see if there are options and nothing happened then for saving either.

Sep 19, 2010I got a Samsung Fascinate a week ago after having Blackberry for 8 years. I want to save emails to somewhere (anywhere!) on my phone. I can't figure out how to do this.
If this isn't able to be done, I can't believe it... Please give me some advice. I'm not impressed with email handling on this phone in general, but if I can't save them somewhere, I don't know what I will do...

I looked, and I noticed his pictures have a "share" option that you can send them to Picasso. Is that good? The videos however did not have this option. Should he simply connect to his PC with a USB cord and copy the files directly?

Sep 19, 2010On a Samsung Fascinate (not sure if that is relevant) does anyone know how to make pictures that come in to a text message just show up in the message. I got my first incoming text on this phone with a picture attached. I saw the message and a "play" button. Push the button, goes to a screen 1/2 which just has the text itself (which I have already read at this point in the original bubble), then sits for a few seconds, then finally goes to screen 2/2, pulls up the picture, with no text. If I go back to the original message, the play button is still there and I have to go through it all over again. Any setting/apps anyone knows of to just have the picture come up automatically as part of the text.
I am coming from a Palm Pre and the photo would just be sitting there when I opened the message.

Oct 14, 2010I'm using handcent and when sending pictures the recipient would not receive them. On my end it says pending and pictures never reach its destination. I have done this with WiFi turned off. Sending text is no problem but pictures is. Is there a bug in the handcent app? Just wondering because its getting frustrating. I have pictures from last night that never reached my wife and still says pending on the status.

I tried to email myself a ring tone on my Fascinate and it comes through, gives you the option to preview it, but no option to save it to the sd card. Does anyone know how to do this? I ask because I have friends that swap ring tones around and it is now impossible to do this for me.

If I just go to contacts and not select any particular contact and hit the ACTIVITIES tab then it works fine there and loads all recent posts by any of my Facebook friends. Sep 30, 2010So I got my fascinates just last week, and my wifes phone has been acting crazy a bit, and I am sure its one of the thousands of apps she has installed. So I went into the 'recovery menu' and cleared the cache and did a factory reset from there to just restore to factory state, and now everything stops unexpectedly. Gmail, calendar, and most of all, media message just keeps popping up every 3 seconds or so. If i remove the sd card the media message will stop, but if I launch things like gmail, calendar, car dock, video player, etc., they all stop unexpectedly. I cannot even setup the market place again due to this failing, does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?
