Samsung I7500 :: Triangle With Exclamation Mark In Recovery Mode
Feb 8, 2010I don't have a rooted phone. I've been running the IK5 firmware for a while with no problems. I had to travel to the states and put my phone on airplane mode and then decided to shut it off. When I tried to turn it on, it would get to the Samsung "glowing" logo and stay there for awhile. Then the screen would flash and the Samsung logo would appear again. My phone was stuck in a loop after that. It never booted up. I decided to try and reload the firmware and that didn't help. Then I tried recovery mode. That's when I got the infamous triangle with and exclamation point in it. After that nothing. I guess I may have somehow bricked an unrooted phone. Although this isn't my specialty.

Sep 20, 2010Didnt see an existing thread on this; sorry if this is a repeat.By default the SF stores 200 texts per conversation and 20 multimedias per conversion. However, that value can in both cases be adjusted up to 5000. Might be excessive but here's how if you haven't already done it: Open Messaging App>Menu>Settings>Text Message Limit>Tap the number and put in 5000>Set and you're done. **If you put in a value greater than 5000 it still ends up as 5000; must be the limit** With 5000 thats gonna be some really long threads but oh well.

and XML file is nothing changed from startup.

Dec 25, 2012I'm having with my Matrix One tablet. I'm getting an exclamation mark inside of a triangle, inside of a battery icon. The issue started after I let the battery completely die out. I can't get past that screen. When pressing power the battery icon shows up and the tablet shuts down a second later. I tried all button combinations to get into recovery, nothing worked. I've also tried charging the tablet.
There was one thing I managed to do, that was get the tablet to show up on my computer. I held down the update button with a needle and then held the power button until a blue light indicating the tablet was on showed up. The screen was black but my computer detected a new device. My computer didn't find any drivers for the tablet, so I went in search of them myself and couldn't find any. My tablet is A10 compatible, but none of the A10 drivers I found seem to work on my tablet when I go to manually update it through device manager, neither does the PDAnet method I found online.
I was able to find a recovery that works on my device, one that will allow me to reset my tablet, if I'm able to boot into recovery after I get it on my tablet. Now in order to even test the other recovery I need drivers for my device so ADB can detect it and I can push the recovery. My device is already rooted with Superuser updated to the latest build.
I'll add that I've even taken the liberty of opening up the tablet to see if I can disconnect the battery from the board to cut all power, as I'm unable to do that because the batteries are connected by soldered red and black cables.

Nov 16, 2010I have the Samsung Fascinate obviously but I'm annoyed with one Android feature. I managed to get only my contacts to sync what I want (not e-mails). However, when I send text messages, the message contacts seems to all the e-mail addresses I've previously sent e-mails to.
Is there any way to get rid of that? And why the heck isn't it the same as my contacts?

Currently any time i want to input the "!" I have to shut the hardkeyboard and go to the soft keyboard for the symbols menu and this feels semi-******ed...

I noticed that when you're in the messaging app and you see the different threads, if you swipe left to right on a person's thread you will get a "CALL" button.
