View 6 RepliesPlease download Linpak for Android and Quadrant Standard from the market and let us know what both of your scores were.Sorry about the title I posted in the wrong forum. I would still like to know for the Captivate though.
View 3 Replies View Relatedcan someone explain the quadrant score to me and if it really means anything? last weekend when i first rooted my DX seemed super fast. had a score of 1580+. then i bricked it and now with almost the exact same set up the most i get is 1403. i dont know if maybe i need to clear out some memory or is there another way to improve it. im running 2.3.15. then i had 2.3.13 but i thought the newer one would be an improvement. idk now.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI see everyone always posting their quadrant score. Is it an app I need to download? I'd like to monitor the speed of my phone before and after I root, so I figured this would be handy.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed the leaked 2.2 update and got it all working. Not being happy enough with how it came out I started playing around with my Titanium Backups and system settings. (I was trying to restore system settings so I wouldn't have to go through everything again.) In any case, I took benchmarks while doing this, because I didn't want to gimp my now much faster dinc.
On a stock 2.1 my Quadrant score was around 530. With the 2.2 leak my Quadrant score was around 1050. After restoring some 2.1 system files my Quadrant score was 1213. Of course, my phone became a bit unstable. Somebody with more free time needs to sit down and play around with this. A few tweaks and the Dinc could really fly on 2.2.
i installed the ryanzas lag fix from the market a couple of days ago. yesterday i did a factory reset and reinstalled it to see if it was still applied so i can remove it. when i try to remove the extools thing it wont let me and when i try to undo lagfix it wont let me and when i try to reapply it it says there is one already applied. how do i completely get rid of it?

View 18 Replies View RelatedI was wondering what would be the easiest way to remove the MCR Scripts lagfix? I don't mind doing a hard reset but will that get my phone to the out-of-the-box shape?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S phone and am wondering if the lagfix can brick my phone. Are there only one method of doing the Lagfix? If there are more than one, are there any that doesn't risk getting the phone bricked?
View 7 Replies View RelatedHas anyone reinstalled ryan's lagfix since the update? My phone was nice and zippy after the update, but it seems to be getting laggy again -- not as bad as pre-update, but still a little laggy. I'm concerned that the update changed file structure or something that the existing lagfix would screw up ...?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone and applied the lag fix all went well until I tried to change the wallpaper from the live water to one of my daughter. It doesnt matter what picture I do and now even if I pick a wallpaper from the wallpaper gallery they all change to the wallpaper of the sunset with the water and rocks... Even using launcher pro it acts weird I have to change what wallpaper I want using touchwiz switch to launcher pro reset it for it to show a wallpaper I want. This all seems a little odd and was wondering if anyone else has had a problem similar.

Trying to figure out how to maximize my score. Is it worth it?
Whats the best may to manage performance?

Any Suggestions or comments?
I may be mistaken, but Froyo was available to Captivate users in the leaked JI6 firmware, yes? Well I'm wondering what your Quadrant scores are, running Froyo JI6, on an otherwise stock Captivate, meaning no lagfix. So here is why I'm asking, I read somewhere, can't remember the link, that Froyo is having some issues with the Hummingbird. Basically it offers no speed-boost at all to the Captivate.Froyo was expected to dramatically improve CPU scored on Quadrant. This video also has me worried, this guy in the video ran quadrant and got a score of 975...I already get 925 on my vibrant stock, running 2.1. Froyo is suppose to give us scores like 1800 without lagfix, NOT 975!
View 49 Replies View Relatedthe Dinc is still alot faster overall and I'm still getting lag with the SF, especially if a Samsung widget (ex: buddies) is on the screen.Which of these is a better score of raw performance (ie: little lag).I'm going to read though the same question posted on the Eris forums now. quadrant vs. linpack - Android Forums

View 1 Replies View Related"Project Voodoo is an Open Source community effort to improve Galaxy S phones."Downloads are free, and do not require that your phone be rooted.I'm primarily interested in Voodoo color, since my phone does suffer from the blue tint. I'm wondering, for those people who have installed these Voodoo projects, what is your experience like.I have read some horror stories regarding lagfix, it may not have necessarily been the lagfix released by Voodoo, but I have heard about various problems such as phone starting to reboot by itself after installing lagfix, phone actually getting slower, and even bricking. I would like to know if these problems apply to Voodoo also. Anybody experience any of these issues with the Voodoo projects?

According to my friend Radio Shack will also be taking orders on Friday.

Has anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?
