Samsung Epic 4G :: Getting Double Notifcations On Status Bar
Nov 5, 2010For some reason, I am getting "two" icon notifcations on the status bar on top.Any thoughts?

Samsung Epic 4G :: Double Sms Notifications Pop Up In Bar
Oct 26, 2010There appears to be a problem with some android phones where even if the sms notifications are off they still pop up in the bar.Has anyone figured out how to turn this off on The Epic 4G.Ive been to messaging app and then also to system setting and I have not been able to get this off. I wanna use handcent but i get the dual notification problem.

Sep 27, 2010If u guys want a full screen effect that way the status bar if gone simple do this:
- First if u haven't already, download launcher pro
- Next go to any of your dock icons and long press it
- When it asks, click on the swipe gesture action
- Go ahead and choose hide status bar

May 25, 2010I use Google Voice for all SMS notifications. I use the Gmail application for my email.Does anyone know of an application that will vibrate my phone at a certain interval, e.g., every 2 minutes, until I actually open my phone and acknowledge that I've received the notification?I would LOVE THIS! I used to have a phone that did this and it came in handy. I find that my Incredible's vibrations are a little light, and I often miss important texts when it's on vibrate.

May 23, 2010When I receive a new email, I get multiple notification icons (I believe one for the 'messages' folder and another for the 'email' folder, etc.) With my BB I got one notification for 'messages' and when the message was tagged as read in that overall folder, it was tagged read in the originating folder as well. I don't want to acknowledge the same message multiple times.love this phone and all it does. Leaps and bounds better than my BB in speed, style, and functionality.

Samsung EPIC 4G :: Text Message Forwarding To Groups On Epic?
Sep 9, 2010Has anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?

Feb 6, 2010I've had my eris for awhile now, no problems thus far Today, 3 times now I've gotten a text (first using handcent, now chomp) and when I pull down to clear/read it in the notifcations tab, sometimes its disappeared and then when I go into the messaging app, its GONE! WTH? Is there a setting I messed with that is making it do this, or how do I fix it?
I've had to ask people to re-send their text message, that gets pretty old for both of us. I rebooted and have yet to see if that has done anything, I havent gotten a message since I did.
