As soon as i got my phone it prompted me with an update. I haven't done it because I did it on my evo and was NOT able to turn sense off anymore. Has anyone done it on the epic? Whats the update for?

My Gmail isn't getting pushed anymore. It worked fine up until yesterday, now I will only get my gmail on my phone if I got to the gmail app and hit refresh. Anyone else having similar issues? Any fixes?

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy Samung Epic 4g was working fine until I plugged in the charger and it WOULD NOT CHARGE. tried another charger, nothing. Tested outlet, yes, it provides electric. So I turned off the Epic and IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Took battery out for a while, put it back in nothing.

I hit the power button to turn the screen off & it lights right back up as soon as I hit it; I hit it again to cut it off, & again it turns right back on; then when I do get it to shut off, about a minute or 2 lata it turns on again & will stay on until I fight to turn it off. I'm jus checking before I hard reset it & see if there's an app causing this.

Also looked everywhere in the sounds menu and nothing - am I missing something? There is an option in my EVO but I find nothing in the Epic 4G - inside our house we get poor reception (Airave here I come!), so the Epic connects regularly to a Verizon tower and that sound is driving me crazy!

Sometimes, the screen will display if I keep clicking the power button one-hundred times, but other than that it won't budge. Everything thing else works when I press the power button, the keyboard lights up, the home button and other buttons light, just not the screen. Like I said, I have to repeatedly press the power button so that in a slight chance, the screen might display.

the onluy thing i got with data is USE APN toglle(if the dta connection toggle doesnt work you can try this) not sure what it means but i want to see if that will help me to get a better battery.
My Sony Xperia X1 was doing some crazy things so I turn it off. Now I cant turn it back on. I tried to charged it but then the on/off button either turned red or the luminous light turn red. I tried to take the sim card and memory out but that didn't work either.

Second, I used Qic for a vid call. Great. Then a video message. I realized these messages are "ONLINE" or in my profile for people to watch unless I hit "private" BEFORE the video, correct. Well,the main part, how do i delete videos that were taken? Is it true or are they still working out the details, that Qik users will be charged five dollars thru paypal, not Sprint. I was not told that. I would be upset. I suppose like Telenav, we could take off phone or not use account and not be charged, unlike 4G

View 5 Replies View RelatedI never liked HTC Sense and while for many people this is a plus addition in HTC Evo for others it was just a pure pain and nonfunctional.I am glad that I found this today, a proof that you can turn HTC Sense off and experience HTC Evo in an original Android theme.Now HTC just give me a GSM/WCDMA version of it with Amoled display and I am sold.YouTube - HTC EVO allows you to turn off Sense UI.
