I was rebooting my phone today and it every time I try it gets stuck on The Galaxy S logo with the big flashing "S" on the screen. It acts like it is going to boot up but just after the ATT screen and the boot sound it gets stuck. I did the one-click-lag-fix about 2 weeks ago and the phone has been running smooth ever since. My wife and daughter are on the road so not having a phone really stinks right now.

I was trying to the galaxy app on my behold 2. Once I rebooted the phone it stays stuck on a "samsung" logo that glow, but nothing else. I tried removing the battery and restarting, but it still stays stuck on the SAMSUNG logo..
View 2 Replies View RelatedI can root a g1 with ease but I sort of got into trouble with the behold. This might sound stupid but do I need to root the phone before I install the port galaxy 1.6? I just did this.
1. download odin here Odin Multi Downloader v4.03.exe
2. download any Of BH_MAN ODIN Ready Rom's
3. download winrar ( google it) to extract the BH_MAN zip file.
4. follow these instruction

Well i tried out a rom (backed up first) didnt like it. so i restored my backup and now my phone is stuck on the vibrant logo. the tmobile ding plays but nothing. and for some reason my phone wont go into download mode and ADB wont work on my pc. it comes up and disappears rapidly. it open in cmd prompt but nothing.
View 9 Replies View Related i was running the latest version of Slim Kat rom for my i9100 when it turned off and then was stuck on samsumg boot logo. When i try to access twrp it just says teamwin and wont go any further. It happened once before and so i just flashed a stock rom and then went back to rooting it. However, now when i try to flash any rom (stock/custom), or another recovery with odin it freezes at "nand write start". I have access to download mode which is really the only thing i have working atm
Ive read around and done everything (eg try other usb ports/cables/odin version) but no luck. Is there anything else i could do? I dont wanna do a pit flash cause im scared ill completely screw it up.

yesterday, i tried to update my samsung galaxy y and cleared the factory settings , data, cache etc. and when i tried to reboot the phone it remained at the samsung logo and it has been there ever since.
i have tried installing odin but when i try opening it after installation, it flashes and close meaning that i can not access it. i have been on this since 5 am today and things just seem not to work out well for me
yesterday, I flashed Modaco Switch for HTC One when my battery is low (20%). Now it wont let me pass the "HTC quietly brilliant" screen. I've searched the solution for hours and still, no luck on finding it out. But I see some thread that suggest me to download a new rom and put it in my SD Card, but I cant even pass the HTC boot up screen. Btw, I've relocked and unrooted my device.

4) Kies 2.0 wont recognize the phone i think it has something to do with battery charger option turned on when you plug it with a usb(i remember from a thread someone said if you have it to charge when you plug it to your pc it wont work)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI flashed my phone to 2.0.1 b/c I thought I had to do that. Turns out I didn't, but there is outdated and updated information out there and I was misled. Anyway, 2.0.1 installed fine and it booted up, though my phone wasn't activated. Anyway, then I realized I needed SPRecovery, so I installed the sbf for that using RSD Lite. It installed successfully as far as i can tell? But it did a reboot, and now it's just stuck on the white-background Moto logo while plugged into my USB. RSD Lite says "Please manually power up this phone."

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was running the JI6 2.2 with cognition beta5.5 and was attempting to update however I needed to swap kernels since the current kernel didn't verify signatures. I was using vmware on a mac and i started it but then continued to use the mac side however the computer disconnected the phone from the windows side and now it is stuck showing an image of a phone next to a computer with a triangle with a ! in it between the two. Pressing all hardware buttons does nothing but black the screen and go back to the same screen. I've taken out the battery, sim, unplugged the cord, everything. Can't get back into download mode to redo the kernal swap. It's definitely connected to a valid, and working, usb port and i am now on windows itself instead of vmware. What do I do?

View 4 Replies View Relatedi am using sense 2.2 rom on my rooted htc hero with no problems on my 16gb microsdhc card. however when i used a kingston 32gb microsdhc i just purchased i can't seem to get it to work. i have formatted the sd card on my computer then i partitioned the card the same way i did with my 16gb card, then i partitioned ext2 to ext3 but when i restarted my phone with the 32gb card inside the screen was stuck on the htc logo. can anybody help please?
View 15 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to delete this and just have the samsung logo on startup? i already deleted all the preinstalled ATT crap that comes with the phone with titanium backup (i just deleted them did not even backup will never use them anyway. after i did that phone seems to be better for me. also i did delete that annoying swish sound at startup but it also took away the samsung startup sound and i like that one. why is it that everyphone for att has there logo or some other att crap on it but the damn iPhone is the only phone clean without any att crap on it -_- i switched over from iPhone 4 could not be more happy. also is there a way to remove the att logo on the top of the phone im talking about the logo next to the speaker.

So there has to be a reason you are praying Samsung announces the issues with the Captivate are fixable, or you would have jumped ship by now to have dozens of choices at the other carriers. For me, my wife just got her first ever iPhone and she refuses to try anything else. She's a big fan of the "Sims" type of games and Android doesn't have many of those games in the Market yet. It doesn't make sense money wise to have us on different carriers. So I'm stuck with At&t and a Captivate that I wish could perfrom to it's potential. Anybody else in a similar situation? Maybe it's spouses, kids, or even work related?

I am not deodexed, but I heard that you could apply some of the rom modifications without any problems. So I did one, and it was ok. I decided to try a different one and thats when I ran into a problem. My phone is stuck at the M logo now and I am not sure how to fix it. I could have sworn that i made a recovery before I installed the .zip but when i went in to try to recover it said there was nothing there. My one savior is that I have the SBF file I need, but I am on a mac so I can not use at the moment and would like to avoid this at all costs. Does anyone have any suggestions for me or will I need to SBF? Also, i have not let it sit at the M logo for an extremely long period of time, is it possible that it will pull around and start to load properly or is there definitely a problem?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just finished updating my wifes Droid X to 2.2 (rooted) moved SU etc.. the phone boots completely (I can ADB in and it makes noise) however it only shows the M logo. I cant boot into recovery and the only way to make it boot is to adb reboot-bootloader anyone know WTF is going on here? I've never seen anything like this before!

I've tried pulling the battery, even for 5-6 mins, going into system recovery mode and clearing cache and still the same thing.
Not sure what to do here. I hear it's some sort of boot-loop error?
Left battery out for 10-15 mins and now it boots fine. Phew
I rooted my X so I could take screenshots. I saw all the hoopla over the new froyo release, and figured I'd try it. Well, now I'm bricked or stuck in endless boot, whichever, and can't get past the Motorola Logo. What can I do? I plug my phone into my pc and it doesnt even recognize it. I keep seeing people telling others to flash the .sbf, but I don't even know what that means.
