I was trying to the galaxy app on my behold 2. Once I rebooted the phone it stays stuck on a "samsung" logo that glow, but nothing else. I tried removing the battery and restarting, but it still stays stuck on the SAMSUNG logo..

I can root a g1 with ease but I sort of got into trouble with the behold. This might sound stupid but do I need to root the phone before I install the port galaxy 1.6? I just did this.
1. download odin here Odin Multi Downloader v4.03.exe
2. download any Of BH_MAN ODIN Ready Rom's
3. download winrar ( google it) to extract the BH_MAN zip file.
4. follow these instruction

4. Click the PDA button and choose the md5 file, You will get error message" invalid image...," but ignore it.

9. Enjoy the Port.
And my phone was stuck on the android logo. do I need to root first and where can I find this? Is this where I go.

Can I do this method even though my phone is stuck on the android screen? How can I get back to default at least?
I was rebooting my phone today and it every time I try it gets stuck on The Galaxy S logo with the big flashing "S" on the screen. It acts like it is going to boot up but just after the ATT screen and the boot sound it gets stuck. I did the one-click-lag-fix about 2 weeks ago and the phone has been running smooth ever since. My wife and daughter are on the road so not having a phone really stinks right now.

Anyway, I have already tried reseting it and taking out the battery, Format SD card, Taken out both cards. Maybe this phone Really is a piece of shit. If it has, I am taking it back in the morning to Tmobile and getting my money back. Then I am Going to Sue Samsung for making such a piece of shit phone.

It originally happened after I rooted my phone (original 1.5 software) following these directions: How To: Root the Samsung Behold 2 | The Unlockr. After that, I deleted DinerDash2, Midnight Bowling, Where's Waldo, IM, Talk, Amazon MP3, MyFaves, Telenav, HotSpot, Audio Postcard, Postcard.apk. When I tried to reboot my phone, I was stuck on the Samsung screen. I finally got the screen to go away, but a message repeatedly popped up saying the TwLauncher closed unexpectedly. Then I tried using ODIN and installing BH_Man's factory v1.6

I used the adb commands to delete the bloatware again. Restarted the phone and got the same problem. (Except I was stuck on the android screen.) I tried to install the factory v1.6 again, then immediately did a factory restore and then rebooted my screen once it loaded. Everything seemed okay. I uninstalled the stock games and rebooted again. It seemed to be working. When I uninstalled more apps (including CubeLauncher) and restarted the phone. What do I do? Did I uninstall something I am not supposed to? I think I might try installing the 1.6 No Twiz Kernel. I am sick of these "TwLauncher closed unexpectedly" messages.
I have a rooted behold 2 [stock] and when I push libwebcore.so into system/lib , the phone hangs after I reboot. I have tried it with a couple of different libwebcore.so files [one from android 1.5 and 2.1] with the same outcome. It sounds like the system is checking for corrupt files or so when it boots and doesn't go any further if its numbers don't match up. Any ideas ?
The reason I'm trying to do this is that i want to be able to read arabic properly on webpages. I have already installed the arabic font [thanks to BH_Man] and all the characters are displayed. However, the browser renders the order of the letters backward [from left to right instead of the opposite].
So, after having the BHII for awhile with a screen protector over it- I just noticed there something that looks like it could be an LED to the right of the T-mo logo.I don't recall seeing any documentation about it. What is it?An LED or a face sensor?

When i try to access twrp it just says teamwin and wont go any further. It happened once before and so i just flashed a stock rom and then went back to rooting it. However, now when i try to flash any rom (stock/custom), or another recovery with odin it freezes at "nand write start". I have access to download mode which is really the only thing i have working atm

yesterday, i tried to update my samsung galaxy y and cleared the factory settings , data, cache etc. and when i tried to reboot the phone it remained at the samsung logo and it has been there ever since.
i have tried installing odin but when i try opening it after installation, it flashes and close meaning that i can not access it. i have been on this since 5 am today and things just seem not to work out well for me
Just for starters I have not rooted my phone or done anything of that nature. I've only had the phone for about two weeks. I've had an issue with it rebooting on me, though it was due to Locale since the first time it rebooted on me, that was the only thing I had done to the phone. The developer said there was an issue with the api's from samsung.Well since then I havent used Locale, removed it, yet its rebooted just a couple of times(compared to 3 times in an hour when I had locale). Now today, I found my phone completely unresponsive. Black screen, no lights, dead. I pulled the battery, reinserted and tried to power on. It charged overnight so it cant be a dead battery.
When I plugged in, the battery charging logo didnt show up, so I did a reset(vol down+ call+ power), got the behold ii boot logo with Recover text, so I hit the home button. I then got a logo I've never seen. It was a logo of the phone with the warning exclamation point inside a triangle. I left the phone alone for a while but it was still there. I pulled the battery again, reinserted and powered on to a normal boot and the phone came on.I'm going to talk to Tmobile about replacement as this is really weird and I havent seen anyone else say thing like this. And just for info, my battery does have the same serial number that others have found to have an issue with. I'll update with any other info I find out, but I'll probably just get a straight swap without any feedback.
yesterday, I flashed Modaco Switch for HTC One when my battery is low (20%). Now it wont let me pass the "HTC quietly brilliant" screen. I've searched the solution for hours and still, no luck on finding it out. But I see some thread that suggest me to download a new rom and put it in my SD Card, but I cant even pass the HTC boot up screen. Btw, I've relocked and unrooted my device.

Anyway, 2.0.1 installed fine and it booted up, though my phone wasn't activated. Anyway, then I realized I needed SPRecovery, so I installed the sbf for that using RSD Lite. It installed successfully as far as i can tell? But it did a reboot, and now it's just stuck on the white-background Moto logo while plugged into my USB. RSD Lite says "Please manually power up this phone."

View 2 Replies View Relatedi am using sense 2.2 rom on my rooted htc hero with no problems on my 16gb microsdhc card. however when i used a kingston 32gb microsdhc i just purchased i can't seem to get it to work. i have formatted the sd card on my computer then i partitioned the card the same way i did with my 16gb card, then i partitioned ext2 to ext3 but when i restarted my phone with the 32gb card inside the screen was stuck on the htc logo. can anybody help please?

Fortunately the reboot time is very fast, but of all the bugs to possibly run into on any cell phone, the scariest is the idea of dropping calls. I am not deodexed, but I heard that you could apply some of the rom modifications without any problems. So I did one, and it was ok. I decided to try a different one and thats when I ran into a problem. My phone is stuck at the M logo now and I am not sure how to fix it. I could have sworn that i made a recovery before I installed the .zip but when i went in to try to recover it said there was nothing there. My one savior is that I have the SBF file I need, but I am on a mac so I can not use at the moment and would like to avoid this at all costs. Does anyone have any suggestions for me or will I need to SBF? Also, i have not let it sit at the M logo for an extremely long period of time, is it possible that it will pull around and start to load properly or is there definitely a problem?

I cant boot into recovery and the only way to make it boot is to adb reboot-bootloader anyone know WTF is going on here? I've never seen anything like this before!

I've tried pulling the battery, even for 5-6 mins, going into system recovery mode and clearing cache and still the same thing.
Not sure what to do here. I hear it's some sort of boot-loop error?
Left battery out for 10-15 mins and now it boots fine. Phew
