Before this I'm on v2.3.3, rooted. Then I try to flash MIUI ROM where resulting my tab to stuck at boot screen. Try to restore nandroid backup, still stuck at samsung logo plus now cannot reboot into recovery. Download mode still can access.

May 10, 2014yesterday, i tried to update my samsung galaxy y and cleared the factory settings , data, cache etc. and when i tried to reboot the phone it remained at the samsung logo and it has been there ever since.
i have tried installing odin but when i try opening it after installation, it flashes and close meaning that i can not access it. i have been on this since 5 am today and things just seem not to work out well for me

4) Kies 2.0 wont recognize the phone i think it has something to do with battery charger option turned on when you plug it with a usb(i remember from a thread someone said if you have it to charge when you plug it to your pc it wont work)
So is there any way i can still make my phone back to work?I tried with the pull battery off charge it and not working..Is the kies problem because of a bad usb cable?should i get another one?I was running officcial rom no custom rom just rooted the device

Apr 24, 2014 i was running the latest version of Slim Kat rom for my i9100 when it turned off and then was stuck on samsumg boot logo. When i try to access twrp it just says teamwin and wont go any further. It happened once before and so i just flashed a stock rom and then went back to rooting it. However, now when i try to flash any rom (stock/custom), or another recovery with odin it freezes at "nand write start". I have access to download mode which is really the only thing i have working atm
Ive read around and done everything (eg try other usb ports/cables/odin version) but no luck. Is there anything else i could do? I dont wanna do a pit flash cause im scared ill completely screw it up.
General :: Samsung Galaxy Grand Not Install CWM
Apr 16, 2013Couldn't find any particular section for Galaxy Grand so posted the Question here. I've been following all the steps given in the tutorials on XDA and youtube and many other sites to install CWM in Galaxy Grand, but to my misfortune, whenever I complete the process and try to open CWM using VOLUME UP+POWER+MENU button, the ANDROID SYSTEM RECOVERY <3e> menu opens and then I could do nothing.
I've tried installing CWM 9 times and also tried removing the batteries.
What should I do???

Mar 29, 2014After I "upgraded" my OS to 4.2.2 using the auto-upgrade feature on my Samsung Galaxy Grand GT-I9082, I've lost a huge number of features, including the following. Unfortunately, I didn't note my original OS, nor have I taken any kind of backup of it (not that I know how to!).
SETTINGS
- Multi-window option has been disabled, and the multi-window toolbar has disappeared.
LOCK SCREEN
- Camera, Gmail and one more App that were available as icons on the lock screen are no longer available.
CALL SCREEN
- Earlier on receiving a call, I could send a message with several pre-set options such as "I'm in a meeting", "I'll call you later", I'm driving", etc. This is no longer available.
PHONE
- "Favorites" option has disappeared. This is a BIG inconvenience!
- When I go to "Phone", I always get the "keypad" page. Earlier, I used to get whatever page I was last on (keypad / logs / favorites)
- The text size has mysteriously (and unnecessarily) increased, in the "Logs" page.
CONTACTS
- "Favorites" option has disappeared; I can't mark any contacts as "favorites".
- Long-pressing on any contact would give me several options, including sending contact details to anyone by message. This, and many other options, have vanished after the upgrade. At present, there are only three options: 'Edit', 'Delete', and 'Add to Group' in the main "Contacts" page, and only 'Remove Member' when viewed in the "Groups" page.
- The number of data fields in each contact in 'edit' mode have drastically reduced. Most importantly, due to removal of the "Notes" field, I have lost all the info I had entered in there: miscellaneous info that didn't fit into any other field.
CALLING
- When a call is being dialled or is in progress, I can't turn on the Bluetooth because the button has been removed from the 'Call' page. Earlier, I could quickly turn on the Bluetooth and switch to it even as the call was being dialled or was in progress.
S PLANNER
- The number of fields in each event in the calender has been drastically reduced. Most importantly, I have lost the ability to set reminders, as the 'Reminders' option has been removed. I can set events, but not reminders for them.
- The left button on my phone (the 'options' button) has no functions in the 'date' and 'event' pages.
GALLERY
- I can't rename folders in the gallery any more.
- More than half the options (available by pressing the left button) have disappeared.
WIDGETS, APPS & OTHER FACILITIES
- The "Alarm" widget has been removed, and I really miss it. Now I have to laboriously open the 'clock' app, scroll to the desired alarm and activate it. Earlier, I had set three or four commonly used alarms in the widget and I could set them directly from my desktop!
- Earlier, if I long-pressed the right-hand button ('Back' button) of my phone, I got a hidden pull-out menu that contained the icons of a whole lot of useful Apps that I could access quickly. Also, this pull-out menu permitted multi-windows (splitting the screen between two different Apps). This pull-out menu is no longer available.
(b) Download & restore a better (not necessarily 'higher') version of Android on my phone?
(c) Backup my OS, or set a restore point, as can be done in PCs (if that's possible)?

Sep 6, 2010I was rebooting my phone today and it every time I try it gets stuck on The Galaxy S logo with the big flashing "S" on the screen. It acts like it is going to boot up but just after the ATT screen and the boot sound it gets stuck. I did the one-click-lag-fix about 2 weeks ago and the phone has been running smooth ever since. My wife and daughter are on the road so not having a phone really stinks right now.

Oct 4, 2010My samsung moment (NOT rooted with 2.1) gets stuck in a boot loop when I restart it. After about 10 mins the lock screen comes up and if I unlock it quick enough the phone runs fine but if I dont unlock it within a certain period of time it will just go back into booting up and go back to showing the samsung logo.
The phone has been running very sluggish since Ive been experiencing this and Im about to do a factory data reset but I dont feel like reloading all my apps and redoing all my settings. Does anyone know of a way to fix this without resetting the whole phone? anyone else experiencing the same thing? any help would be appreciated. Im about to get a blackberry, I love the android when it works but it just seems the slightest adjustment to the phone sends the whole thing haywire. Living with this aggrevation is becoming not worth it.

Jan 21, 2014It is my first time to run cyanogenmod on my phone. I have the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 2 4G and I tried to install the CM 11 of jfbs. I did all the backups and I wiped the data and cache and installed the ROM and Gapps. But I rebooted my device and the Cyanogenmod logo appeared with the spinning arrow and it didn't want to stop spinning (or loading if you want). My phone was stuck on logo and the spinning arrow. I forced the phone to turn off and when I rebooted it I worked but after a little time it went back to the logo and the spinning arrow. I re-installed the ROM and Gapps but like before, the logo and the spinning arrow still there until now and it won't even stop and lead me to the lock screen.

Apr 12, 2010I can root a g1 with ease but I sort of got into trouble with the behold. This might sound stupid but do I need to root the phone before I install the port galaxy 1.6? I just did this.
1. download odin here Odin Multi Downloader v4.03.exe
2. download any Of BH_MAN ODIN Ready Rom's
3. download winrar ( google it) to extract the BH_MAN zip file.
4. follow these instruction

3. Click the OPS button and choose Behold2_partition.ops
4. Click the PDA button and choose the md5 file, You will get error message" invalid image...," but ignore it.
