Looks like samsung is getting tired of all the tweets asking about android updates for the behold 2 they just posted this on the samsung mobile twitter page:"Samsung Behold II users: At this time, we don't have information on an Android update for the Samsung Behold II.If we receive information on an update for the Behold II, we will be sure to keep everyone posted.
this was posted by samsung and is NOT in response to a question, they're just "keeping us posted." guess they are sick of us asking all the time, well...just give us a godd**n update then Sammy!!!!!
I don't have the Tmo data plan and I still have not got the update yet. Have anyone without the data plan received the update?

I'm 50 years old and getting confused by all this techo stuff. I am getting rid of my Behold II this week and getting a phone that can play XM RADIO, MLB games and allow me to text easily. THAT IS ALL I CARE THAT MY PHONE DOES!

The app comes complete with 24/7 live streaming of NFL Network to include 8 Thursday night games and 17 NBC Sunday Night games, live streaming video of the draft event, on-demand video analysis from NFL Network, a pick-by-pick draft tracker, and other content.
Unfortunately this app is only available to Verizon customers ... until now.

View 17 Replies View RelatedFrom the online articles and the encryption description i was left with the impression that i will need to enter the password only on boot.Well appears that once encrypted the only active unlock options become, face unlock, pin and password.All take too long for my daily use, and since you don't have to use the encryption password for unlocking (the phone is decrypted on boot) but other options like face unlock, why we can't unlock with the normal slider screen or at least pattern unlock?Is there a way to go around it and enable the slider unlock on an encrypted phone?
i know that decreases the security, but knowing that if i lose my phone, chances are the battery will die, and they will need to decrypt it then...

This seems to happen when the user has previously installed certain custom ROMs such as Take5 and Galaxy R12.The work-around requires a complete factory wipe of the phone, meaning you will lose all of your data and apps not on the SD card.

I'm not sure what software I need to use to implement AR but as I can understand I need: ARToolKit Marker Generator to create the marker matching with the 3D image, then FLARToolKit to analyze the image from the marker and Papervision3D to create an object that shares that same space with the marker.
