View 14 RepliesI just got a behold 2 rooted yesterday and im not all that a fan of it i was just wondering how i can go abouts to just get normal unroooted android back on it
if anyone knows of a tut that they can point me to that would be awesome!
I'm not sure if any of this will help but here are some specs about it
firmware version:1.6
baseband version: t939uvja3
kernal version: 2.6.29 root sep-51 #1
build number: donut.bh_man_r11
Get rid of that mombojumbo and back to normal stock android .
I just want to know that if I root my tab with custom rom.. Then is it possible to revert back or unroot the tab to original rom so that it's warranty doesn't void.

View 6 Replies View Related**Updated mistyped path: correct is /data/data/com.wssyncmldm
**Organized Links, removed redundancies
**Added firmware file link (see bottom)
In case visitors are wondering, this won't get your phone updated. It may help find a method later, though
Binary cache files were found in /data/data/com.wssyncmldm that specify various URIs related to T-Mobile's management system and firmware OTA updates. There is also a file 'fota_delta_dp' (~40MB) which I assume is the update file. I haven't had a chance to analyze it yet but it is not a zip file. The URIs can only be accessed from within T-Mobile's wireless network.
I'm roooted. I downloaded bootstrap and the first thing i did was create a nandroid back up for my x. then i proceeded to try and install tranquility rom. it got stuck in a bootloop. so when i rebooted into recovery it now goes for some reason to the droid stock recovery and i can't revert back to my back up. what do i do?!

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I've been tinkering around with Odin and flashing to the many firmwares floating around- the latest is the JFM6 i9000 firmware.. Which also included flashing the CSC and kernel..
My question is, since I flashed the csc and kernel, how do I flash back to the stock JF6 rom that came with the phone? Just the pit and .tar (pda)? I have the firmware and the pit file.. just wondering what is entailed because of flashing the additional csc and kernel files as well.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to disable that stupid button? I hate the location of it. Also, is there some kind of slide-to-unlock feature for these phones? I know we have the slide security pad thing, but I was wondering more along the lines of the iPhone and Droid... slide a button across the screen to unlock.
View 5 Replies View RelatedOn the behold 2 there is no light when in the video mode like with the regular behold. Sometimes I would like to shoot videos of the kids outside at night but the lighting is bad. I downloaded momentflash and love it. I used that while video recording it worked great. My only concern is the warning with momentflash that says
"overuse of the flash may damage it especially in bright mode" Is there anything that can be done to have a light when recording? Or to dim the light a bit?
The version of the software that is most current is version 6 (the phone shipped with version 3).
To ascertain version: Go to Dialer/Hit Star/#9999#
You will see the PDA; Phone; and Software Version numbers in this section
The T939xxxx6 for PDA AND PHONE and then
Software Version - ending in .006 on the last line.
I was told that the reason that I keep seeing the "No update file exists" message when I check "update firmware" is because I have the latest version.
At some point my phone was updated without giving me a message. I did notice the red and blue arrows yesterday. But there was no message. My SD card mounted and dismounted on its own and gave an error message, and then all references to the error and SD card disappeared.
If your phone is/has exhibited this sort of behavior, you may already have the update.

View 2 Replies View Relateda few days ago I was flashing my phone and had a power outage when I was almost done. Now I get can't it to show up on RSL or ADB. It's lagging like crazy. I did resets, I've been searching for 3 days for a way how to just put this phone (behold 2) back to stock, and I can't find a damn thing. I always hate to ask for help but I really need it. This thing freezes and randomly reboots by itself all day long. It's pretty useless. Does anyone have or know of a file I can download and flash or use in some other way to take my phone back to stock condition?
