All the videos i have watched of comparisons and what not, i have loved what i have seen from Sense UI. Even though its still the first day the X's UI seems bland to me. So is there any downloads that might help ?

For the breath time I had the EVO I really liked the combined screen app Friendstream. Is there a way to use that app in another phone like X or perhaps a similar application for download?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI used to have sense but rooted and went to a senseless ROM. The only thing I liked about sense was Facebook for HTC Sense. Every app I have found to sync facebook profiles only does the pictures.Is there an app that will sync birthdays to the calendar and pictures to my contacts, and allow me to choose which syncs where? I have some friends with Facebook names that I do NOT want to be as my phone contacts.

Is there any app that I could install on her HTC Desire HD (not rooted, S-ON) that would do this? (One of the most important features is the ability to set custom ringtones for appointments in the calendar)
I'm looking for a stock app or widget that handles contact communication similar to HTC Sense. merging facebook, sms, email, etc. Does anyone know of anything in the app store?

View 1 Replies View RelatedFirst of all, I am not saying that I prefer the iPhone over the Droid X at all. HOWEVER, I am terribly jealous over their cases!! I haven't seen the iPhone 4 cases, but for iPhone 3G and 3GS, their cases are just sweet.

I went to send a text message today to a friend named Jamie and when I scrolled through my contacts and click on Jamie I see two numbers. One is for Jamie and the other is for James. The problem is only Jamie shows up in my contact list. Luckily, I had my old phone and I was able to see which number belonged to who. I tried deleting both contacts and re-adding but the same thing happened. Can anybody else confirm this or is there some setting that I am unaware of (ie. group similar names)? Not a huge deal just curious.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been trying out some different ROMs trying to pick out a daily and I have ran into a very annoying problem. When I download a sense ROM I cannot send MMS through Handcent or ChompSMS. However, the stock messaging app works like a charm when sending them. The only problem is that I hate the stock messaging app. I always wipe and don't flash any other zips before I try sending the MMS and it still doesn't work. The weird thing is that I can use Handcent and ChompSMS on the CM6 ROM. I've tried the APN method and factory data resets. Nothing.
Here's the sense ROMs I have tried with no luck:
-Myn's RLS2 and 3
-Nil's business sense
-Virtuous v3.1.0
-SkyRaider 3.3
Today I actually unrooted my phone and got everything stock again, and Handcent and Chomp still didn't work. This is very annoying because I have flashed probably 30 times in the past 3 days trying to find a Sense ROM I can get to work.
I am trying to download mp3 files from my file server onto my Droid. Everytime I try to download a song I get the error message Download Unsuccessful. I thought it was a problem with my server but all of my computers can download from it, and I just went and got my mom's Droid ERIS to test. It could successfully download mp3 files from the server. This is ridiculous, why wouldn't my Droid be able to download these files but the ERIS can? Is this a case of Droid DOESN'T?

This would make my phone almost perfect anyone can help me? I would gladly pay $20 for such a thing.

Sense UI has been ported to the Moto Droid. I know some people could care less. But for me, I graduated to the Moto Droid from the HTC Eris and I really like Sense UI. I got a sprint HTC Hero but am very disappointed by it's speed (And I run only two widgets - bookmarks and weather!) - when I press the menu button the phone can take up to 3 seconds for the pulldown login screen to show up - super annoying. I'm loving Droid for the tech specs...but I love the sense UI is it possible to put the sense UI on the droid in theory? I have a few more days to return the hero and might if I could get this to work.
