Jul 8, 2010I know what the resolution is for the Droid x which is 480x854..but what is the wallpaper resolution? On the Droid Incredible and I believe even the original Droid the wallpaper size was different than the resolution of the screen.

Jul 17, 2010does anyone know what size a picture needs to be in order to not be blown up and look horrible on the Droid X homescreen? I had the motorola Devour before this phone, and it did the same thing and I never did figure out what size my pictures needed to be in order to look right on the homescreen. Is there an app out there that will make wallpaper from your pictures? Any help greatly appreciated and sorry if this has been posted in another spot, I tried to search through and didnt see an answer for my question.

Jul 19, 2010I'd like for someone to either make (or if its been made, show me), the Andoid logo (little green alien) with an X-men logo on his his chest or make him look like one of the original X-men characters. Kind of like what was done with the Incredible with the Disney Incredibles logo on his chest. I think this would be pretty awesome.

I found some pics to make a wallpaper and then resized then 960x854. I then sent to my gmail account and saved then put as a wallpaper which doenst look right at all.

Feb 21, 2010I have my wallpaper fixed so it doesn't move when I move from screen to screen. Since I'm using a fixed wallpaper why does it still want me to crop an image? I have an image on my phone that fits the screen perfectly but when I go to set it as a wallpaper it wants to crop it and cut the image pretty much in half which is really dumb. Anyway around this?

Nov 4, 2010I use wallswitcher to change my wallpaper every 30 minutes. Works great.
However I have noticed an issue. after enough switches the wallpaper updates, but the lockscreen background reverts to the droid X default.
Only rebooting the phone seems to help.

Mar 20, 2010I'm currently running BB v.08 OCed to 1100 mhz and i'm using the neutral network LWP that was made specifically for the droid. Whenever I use my facebook widget or handcent quick reply, as i'm typing with the virual portrait mode keyboard once I reach a certain amount of characters my screen flashes and one of the default wallpapers that comes with the droid replaces my LWP. Why is it doing this? Once i finish the message I can go back and change the wallpaper, but it's really annoying how it changes by itself

Feb 17, 2010I experimented with 2 different things. The Original file size for the wallpaper on the Camera app is 192x192. I edited a photo to be that size (the black and white one) and did the steps below. I then redid another one with a 854x480 pixel size photo and it also worked. So Anything up to 854x480 will work! Finally no more ugly grey looking wallpaper when taking pictures!
