Sep 2, 2010I've used Mabilo and AndroLib wallpaper apps on my phone but notice that all of the wallpapers I download become a bit grainy when I use them as a background.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a very high res wallpaper app? I woulnd't mind dropping a little change in the developers pocket as long as it is a quality app.

Nov 18, 2010I have tried and cant seem to get any picture to show up right on the droid x for a wallpaper. How are you guys doing it. I found some pics to make a wallpaper and then resized then 960x854. I then sent to my gmail account and saved then put as a wallpaper which doenst look right at all.

Feb 21, 2010I have my wallpaper fixed so it doesn't move when I move from screen to screen. Since I'm using a fixed wallpaper why does it still want me to crop an image? I have an image on my phone that fits the screen perfectly but when I go to set it as a wallpaper it wants to crop it and cut the image pretty much in half which is really dumb. Anyway around this?

Nov 4, 2010I use wallswitcher to change my wallpaper every 30 minutes. Works great.
However I have noticed an issue. after enough switches the wallpaper updates, but the lockscreen background reverts to the droid X default.
Only rebooting the phone seems to help.

Mar 20, 2010I'm currently running BB v.08 OCed to 1100 mhz and i'm using the neutral network LWP that was made specifically for the droid. Whenever I use my facebook widget or handcent quick reply, as i'm typing with the virual portrait mode keyboard once I reach a certain amount of characters my screen flashes and one of the default wallpapers that comes with the droid replaces my LWP. Why is it doing this? Once i finish the message I can go back and change the wallpaper, but it's really annoying how it changes by itself

I edited a photo to be that size (the black and white one) and did the steps below. I then redid another one with a 854x480 pixel size photo and it also worked. So Anything up to 854x480 will work! Finally no more ugly grey looking wallpaper when taking pictures!
