Motorola Droid X :: FB App - An Error Has Occured While Fetching Data
Aug 24, 2010The last couple of days i have been having a huge problem with my FB app. It keeps telling me "an error has occured while fetching data" or what ever it says i never up graded to the new app. Every thing else on my phone works normal. Does anyone have and tips or idea on what is going on? i'm rooted as well and have been for the last month.

Jun 26, 2010I just bought 2 Droids and they are about 4 days old. Since the first day we have gotten them we have been getting this message, "a network error has occurred retry or cancel and return to the previous screen." This happens 2 or 3 times a day at least over 3G and wifi. Anything using the Internet won't work including the market and the browser. From what I have researched a lot of people have been getting this error but I haven't found a fix yet, anybody know what I could do?

"An error had occurred while fetching data. [101/Invalid API Key]". I'm on T-Mobile, if that helps.

Jul 5, 2010I was trying to root my droid and everything was going fine until my DM updater gave me this error "an error has occured! unable to contact downloads server http://downloads.droidmod.org/updater.xml". I'm good on my phone and computers, But I cant figure this one out. I've tried going to the droid-mod website and it seems to be down. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem or am I getting this error because the site is down.

Oct 12, 2010OK, I've been on the leaked version 2.3.9 pretty much since it was available and didn't upgrade to the OTA. Recently, I decided to deactivate my Facebook account since I don't really use it anymore. I have always had it listed in my accounts with Google and Twitter, and now I want it removed. Every time I try to remove it from my accounts on my phone, I get an error message. Any ideas why it's getting an error and what I can do to fix it?

Android :: Fetching Data - Responsebody - HttpClient In An AsyncTask And Returning Data
Mar 16, 2010How I'm able to do what I've written in the topic. I've looked through many tutorials on AsyncTask but I can't get it to work. I have a little form (EditText) that will take what the user inputs there and make it to a url query for the application to lookup and then display the results.
What I think would seem to work is something like this: In my main activity i have a string called responseBody. Then the user clicks on the search button it will go to my search function and from there call the GrabUrl method with the url which will start the asyncdata and when that process is finished the onPostExecute method will use the function activity.this.setResponseBody(content).
This is what my code looks like simpliefied with the most important parts (I think).

Android :: Error Occured While Installing AIR Application Using Flex Builder
Nov 8, 2010When tried to build a AIR application for android using flex builder I did the following steps to do that .plz tell me where the error happened
1.Created Air application using flex builder that produced two type of files .swf and .xml files and cetification file
2.Created apk file from the above files using "Package assisstant pro"
3.then i installed AIR 2.5 run time in my emulator
4.after that i tried to install the apk file that Created from the 'package assisstant pro' then i tried to install the apk file by using command prompt then it show this error
"INSTATTION FAILED INVALLID APK" .And also i cann't install other apk file (Sample air for android application apk file that downloaded from the site) that shows the same error
I succeed to install other application's(Say for printing hello world) apk file

HTC EVO 4G :: Can't Add Facebook Account - Keep Receiving Error Message
Jun 8, 2010I've been trying to add my Facebook account since I got the Evo on launch day and I continue to get the same error message. I haven't seen any threads mentioning this so I'm assuming it's just me, but I'm hoping others have experienced this and may know a fix. I go to Menu>Settings>Accounts & Sync>Add acount>Facebook for HTC Sense, I enter in my e-mail and password and receive the following message: "The service is currently unavailable. Do you want to try again?" I select Yes but it just keeps popping up and has done so for the last four days. Does anyone know a fix for this? I've tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling. I called Sprint and they suggested I reset the phone which is not something I want to do.

device and when application receive response from server app will dismiss the dialog or bar and will show data .
For this i am using AsyncTask -

Sep 25, 2010I have a 2 minute 720P video taken with the droidx that i am trying to upload to my youtube account. The video is 140mb in size. i get the following message when I try to upload the video to youtube via the share option in Gallery "You can not upload a video larger than 1GB".
I get this message if I'm connected to wifi or not. The video is only 140mb in size!
Any one else getting this message?
I was getting this message prior to upgrading to 2.2 and was hoping that the 2.2 would fix it, but it didn't.

Nov 10, 2009The facebook app definitely has not links to it. I used the browser to get to the site and selected full site. I get all the way into upload and the upload page says uploads disabled. Anyone know why this would be?I registered my phone number on my previous phone (same number/provider now) with facebook and have an upload email address. On my previous phone I successfully uploaded videos using this method.So I tried it on the droid. First problem I had was with the messaging app. I can't figure out how to search my contacts from the To:. If I start typing the contacts come up but it only lists phone numbers.I found that the Contacts has an menu option for Display Options. That's where the Only contacts with phones check box is.still doesn't show up in the messaging app. I even killed it hoping some kind of refresh was needed.nope.no emails. Why doesn't the message app have a contacts menu option. So I go to contacts which now has facebook email in it. I find facebook. I hit edit. I press and hold on the email text box.copy all.then restart messaging and paste the email into the to.that was quite a bit of work.at least now I have a message thread to reuse..cause that was a PITA.I then hit upload and select my video...all my videos of which the longest is 20 seconds (I've always been able to mms up-to-30 seconds on Verizon) error out saying they are two big. btw.my samsung flip phone with windoze 2 would go into a "formatting for messaging" sequence before sending it.So I take a 2 second video attach it and send it off.facebook texts back "Sorry an error occurred processing your video. Please try again in a little while."huge props to anyone who can come up with a way to upload video either 3G or wifi to facebook. I'm going to try USB mounting and upload on the computer but that defeats the whole purpose.huger props to anyone who can figure out why the main facebook site says "Video Uploads Disabled" when I surf from my phone....the conspiracy theory person thinks collusion!

May 11, 2010I've been getting an error message all day. everytime I try to go into the market to update apps I get the message "A server error has occurred. Retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen." I can hit retry 42 million times and it will not connect.
I've rebooted, pulled the battery, cleared the cache, I even tried uninstalling the market updates; figuring that it would connect and I could re-update, but nothing has worked.

Motorola Droid :: Try Download Song Get Error Message Download Unsuccessful
Mar 13, 2010I am trying to download mp3 files from my file server onto my Droid. Everytime I try to download a song I get the error message Download Unsuccessful. I thought it was a problem with my server but all of my computers can download from it, and I just went and got my mom's Droid ERIS to test. It could successfully download mp3 files from the server. This is ridiculous, why wouldn't my Droid be able to download these files but the ERIS can? Is this a case of Droid DOESN'T?
