Motorola Droid X :: Official Twitter App Widget Not Reloading
Sep 7, 2010Have it set for auto refresh every 2 hours but its not doing it unless i do it manually. It was working fine but all of a sudden stopped. Any idea why?

Sep 21, 2010I just got my Samsung Galaxy S delivered and I've installed a few apps and they're working nicely but the ones that dont seem to work for me are the Twitter ones, I can log on to the site just fine on pc and through the mobile browser but the apps arent working, I first tried Twidroid, it doesnt authenticate my login details and says I put them in wrong, the same goes for Twitter's official app, anybody able to help me?

Jun 17, 2010I am using the official twitter app on my desire, and I have noticed that the size of the app keeps growing. The 'data' component of the app is now 3MB on my phone. And there is no way to remove it. The only option I get is to uninstall the app. Any way to get around this problem?

Aug 4, 2010I basically want a widget which has a simlar layout as the twitter widget.As you can see the tweet text nicely wraps around the AUTHOR element. This can be done with one TextView using the following method: http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/faq/commontasks.html#sele.The problem is that its a widget and i only have access to the ui elements using the RemoteViews.I was thinking of using a layout manager for this, but its impossible because textviews are always rectangular.So how do i do this? I know you helped twitter build their application.

May 5, 2010I'm got a custom webview setup which is working pretty well, but I'd like to be able to either:
1, change the url hash without the webview reloading the page (it would lose the state of my js app)
2, call some js that sits within my web page from within android. I can't change any JS within the site, unfortunately, so can't custom write any js to put on the site especially for the job, the only stuff I have control over is the Android app.
Can anyone think of a way of doing either of these?

Nov 9, 2010I am trying to remove my facebook and twitter accounts from my phone since they took over my contacts list and I simply just do not want them. When I go to settings > accounts > then try to remove either of them I get the Removing Account box with the red bar and it feels up to the end. Then I get an error message saying "An error has occurred. Please try again." I have rebooted the phone and everything.I googled this problem and found many posts with the same problem, but no answers. Does anyone have a clue what to do ?
