Can anyone recommend a great GPS toggle that doesn't take me to the GPS menus but allow me to toggle directly from the home screen?
View 9 Replies View RelatedLooking for a simple data toggle I can put on the home screen to turn data on/off with one press. I don't need multiple button for BT, WiFi, Gps because of the touchwiz drop down. Anyone using one with any kind of luck?
View 14 Replies View RelatedAnd the gold toggle thingy is USELESS when trying to click on an icon. Is there a way to lower the sensitivity of the screen or the toggle? In a. Normal 20 minute browsing session I have to hit back at LEAST 10 times due to ever so slightly mis-touches.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I disabled Sense on my 2.1 and does anyone know of a good application or widget that can toggle 3G, WiFi, and GPS. I tried power control but it didn't work with my 3G.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI want a widget to toggle settings like WiFi, GPS, bluetooth etc all in one bar configuration as opposed to separate widgets. I saw one screen shot in this forum of a very clean, minimalistic bar where green = on, red = off (or something like that) for each setting, but I can't remember which post had that screen shot. I've searched and searched. Anyone remember seeing this? Or what search term should I use in the market to find this sort of widget with multiple settings on it?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure if this is just me, but it's kind of strange. My web browsing goes 10X faster if I'm not tonnected to my Wifi at home. I have a wireless G setup, and the phone is connected to it with full signal strength. Is anyone else having a similar problem?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got a Moment and I am trying to analyze some issues to make sure everything is okay. The specific one I am asking about here is that on the home screen when I am connected to my home WIFI it does not show any bars. However if I go into the settings and look at the list of networks, my WIFI network will show two or three bars. What doesn't make sense to me is that when I am connected to another WIFI it will show the same on the home screen and within settings.
I have read that if I show WIFI on the homescreen then that means I am using WIFI and not the Sprint Network. Anyway I would greatly appreciate any help to understand what is going on here.
I love Helix Launcher 2 with its 3d app scrolling and 4 shortcuts, but is their a home like that with less lag? Because my phone lags nonstop now. Also on a side note. Is their a Ultimatedroid theme for Cyanogen? I <3 Ultimatedroid's theme and thats the only reason I use it over Cyanogen.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI have seen there are a few home screen replacement apps out there, Pandahome, GDE and Open Home....
Which one do people like the best? I am looking for one that will pretty much just give me the extra home screens, but will maintain the look and feel of the basic home screen. Any thoughts?
I bought the dock for the droid the other day and i really like the home screen that comes up when you plug the phone into it, but i was wondering is there was anyway to access that screen with out the dock. the screen that im talking about is the one with the music player, photo viewer, dimming the alarm clock, etc.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is like a default option but i've found thet my X's entire OS goes into landscape mode, including app tray, browser, apps, everything. I haven't downloaded any apps that do this and while its in this mode it wont rotate back to portrait. The only way I could change it back is by rebooting. I haven't found a way to voluntarily recreate this, it just happens, maybe by a certain combination of keys, but I'd like to know how to recreate this. I'm sure its probably really obvious so forgive me for my obliviousness
View 5 Replies View RelatedCan somebody tell me in easy instruction on how to get the clock with the weather and everything together on the droid x please. Don't know what app to get or how to set it up.
View 2 Replies View RelatedUnless I have the keyboard slid open, the home screen doesn't rotate.Apps do, but the homes screen doesn't. I have the auto-rotate open selected in settings. Also, when in my car dock, everything shows in landscape except when I am in a call. The call still shows up in the portrait. It is kind of annoying and lame
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe other day I took a trip, put my X in the car dock, and set Nav to my destination. About an hour into my trip, Nav would intermittently close, and would return to the home screen. However, the app wasn't always completely FC'd, but running in the background, and could be returned to by dragging down the Notification bar and reselecting it. This continued for the last 2 hours of my trip and was extremely annoying. Has anyone else experienced this?
View 9 Replies View RelatedIm on the Rom manager 2.1. It's been working for days now and I backup my roms pretty much every day. Today I installed a new app Vlingo and my apps disappeared off my home screen. I restored from 2 days ago, but I'm getting the same thing. The apps load at first, but within 5 minutes, they go away. Then, if I apply some apps on the now empty screens, they will be on top of the old ones when I reboot.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI mistakenly added some apps on the home screen. I don't know how to remove them.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there an app that allows me to do this instead of the designated spots?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm using helixlauncher and normally the four apps that id have on the default home screen are now in the quickbar on the bottom. So Im lookingg for a replacement widget that I can put there so its not so empty.
View 26 Replies View RelatedSurprisingly I can't find any other threads about this. Does everyone here experience some sort of lag or stuttering when flipping through homescreens? If so, have any of you figured out a way to make it smoother? It also happens with the slideout trays on the homescreen.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a couple of widgets one having to do with battery, wifi, bluetooth, and volume I believe... Well none of them worked and I'm pretty sure I uninstalled all of them. However on the most right side of the home screen it still says Problem Loading Widget.. Doesn't seem to be causing a problem but it is just really annoying.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased a universal car dock form my moto droid and it fits well. I had to because the car dock from Motorola would not fit with the phone case on it. I usually have the map view while driving, but the screen turns-off. Is there a way or app to not turn-off the screen while using the car-home app.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've doctored my screens up pretty well with various widgets and such, is there a way to rest all of the pages to it's original state so I can start all over? I'm using Launcher Pro.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am looking for Something that will just allow the home screen to go into landscape when tilted w/o having to load a completely new launcher/home screen app. Is there any stand alone app that will do this?
View 14 Replies View RelatedSo when I have my Droid docked in Car Home mode, the screen will stay on when in Navigation, but will timeout as it normally does when I'm just in Maps (ie: if I just want to follow my movement without turn-by-turn directions) or when I'm on a call. For the life of me I can't find screen timeout options specific to Car Home.

Most of my time with my new precious has been obsessing over how to arrange my screens.
Why the flip do the widgets lock into such ridiculous places!? Sometimes you could fit a whole other line of regular icons in the space that they leave!
So my question: Do any of you have OCD about how the screens are set up, and how do you set it up to work?
Tried to search but couldnt find anything on this.
Here is what is happening with my Droid. I have the official release on my Droid and when I leave and app (Like Dolphin or Handcent) my icons on my home screens take 5-10 secs to refresh and it can take another 5 seconds before my home screen will react to any touches.
Also when I unlock my phone it can take close to 20 secs sometimes (not all the time) for my icons to come in and it takes at least 5 secs no matter what to get my screen to react to any touches.
Is anyone else having this issue? What can I do? Now I almost wish I had never updgraded to 2.2.....
