View 1 RepliesSo as the title states, I'm an idiot and delted everything off of my SD card. The idiot part comes from me getting all gitty about the 2.1 v3 update, not thinking about the pictures and videos that I didn't back up (my music and ROMs already were backed up) and deleting my SD card purposely to get rid of all the old, unneccesary files and folders. Anyways, is there anyway to get these old files back? I've seen another post about a file recovery program but it wasn't very specific.

View 7 Replies View RelatedThere were a bunch of videos on my phone's internal memory (21 to be exact). I connected the phone to a PC so I could copy the videos off the phone and when it synced the two drives (internal and SD), it only showed 3 out of the 21 videos I had. I searched on the drive for *.3gp videos and it still only showed those 3. When I removed the phone from the PC and looked in my videos on the phone the extra 18 videos were no longer there. I also performed a search on the phone using Astro and again it only found the 3 videos.
It is as if they have been deleted somehow? Any idea how to get them back?
can I delete these.. anyone know?

View 4 Replies View RelatedWell a new version of my favorite ROM came out and I installed it. Sadly the designer deleted my wallpaper in the last update and in this one he deleted my ring tone and notification tones. How can I back up these choices and add them to the newest version of the ROM? The new version is much quicker and I want to use it but only with those tones.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone else find it absolutely ridiculous that you can't send/receive files, even pictures, via bluetooth from your computer? I'm hoping that maybe I'm just doing something wrong.
View 18 Replies View RelatedI had my Droid X plugged into my computer and the next day when I was using it, noticed that all of my pictures were gone. My DCIM folder is empty, with all 100 pics missing.
I do have a folder in the DCIM folder called SPMO files and it has many .spmo files that are roughly 500k each in size.
Does anyone know what happened to all of my pictures and is there any way to recover them. I've tried a restart and that did not work. Has anyone else had this happen to them.
I guess I will give the background. I had over 100 pictures stored on my sd card, and i last looked at them yesterday. Today I opened my File manager, and it had expired, so I dl'ed Astro. When I went into Astro and clicked on my DCIM there was nothing inside which I thought was weird. So I went to my Albums and sure enough, It cant find any photos or videos. I took a camera shot, and it saved it to the sd card and I was able to look at it. I unmounted and removed the sd card (also rebooted phone) hoping it might jump start the card or something. When I put the card back in the phone, it had erased the one picture I just took and saved. I was wondering if anyone else had this happen to them? Is a bad sd card most likely the case?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy 3 y/o daughter loves watching cartoons (Barbie) on my Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note. However she often accidentally deletes the movies (she's only 3) while changing cartoons. I keep the movies on my micro SD card but unlike the SD card the micro doesn't have a lock to prevent deletion.
Is there a way or app that can prevent her from accidentally deleting the cartoons?
The first screen to the right from the main screen is where favorite contacts go. I was trying to figure out how to delete one of those contacts from my favorites and I sent the whole screen into the remove box and deleted it (I've since figured out how to remove a singe contact). How do I get that screen back?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI just installed the new update for the droid eris and everything is working perfect except for the fact that all of my contacts have been deleted. Anyone have any idea how to fix this problem.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I got my new Eris, the Verizon guy offered to swap my contacts from my old phone to the new one (as usual). He did so. After getting home, I noticed he'd also downloaded all the accumulated contacts 9 mostly crap) from my Google Mail account as well. I went and deleted them all but now I keep getting a notification saying that I deleted TOO MANY? It then gives me three choices, one of which is delete them. The notification keeps coming back.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is the final question for me that has yet to be answered. It's the only thing still left up in the air. I want to be able to plug my EVO into the TV and use all the features currently on the phone. Specifically web browsing. If this is not available can we blame it on a hardware limitation or software. Maybe it's something that will work with the Dock when it's released since it comes with an HDMI cable. I can't believe I can't find a straight answer considering Ive seen the question asked on other forums as well. If it works the way I would hope then it's an easy replacement for my jaloppy of a computer.

Can anyone give some solution on how it works?
Well, today I was using my phone, and I hooked it up to a PC to copy a file off the SD card. I turned off USB storage, unplugged it, and went to set a new wallpaper when I realized... some of them were missing... I checked other folders and sure enough, magically missing pictures..
Now I have seen this happen where it won't see all my audio files, but eventually it kind of just fixes itself and sees them all, but I browsed the SD card, and I cannot even see the missing pictures.. I assume my SD card is corrupting and I should format it. Is this the kind of symptom you'd see when that happens? Or is the SD card physically bad?
I'm trying to recover deleted photos from my android phone so I downloaded the Remo Recover for Android software. Problem is when I plug in my phone, open the usb mass storage, and click Recover Deleted Files, it says, "Android device not connected! A Cable might be unplugged!" My computer is recognizing the device, but for some reason it's still saying this but I know it doesn't have anything to do with the cable.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI accidentally deleted all of the pictures I had taken on my droid razr maxx. I thought I was deleting one picture, but it was the entire album!! Is there anything I can do retrieve them? No, I had not backed up any of them to assistant!
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo all of the sudden my phone starts messin up on me, i go to my albums and see that i only have 20 pictures out of the 313 i had previously on the phone it would sometimes come up with all the original photos and everything in the album but now it's like just gone. How can i get them back? I put it as a disk drive to try and look for it but when i go into DCIM there's only like 10 files in there.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is my first android device and i'm loving it... but one thing that irks me is the use, or lack thereof, of the back button.
As I am navigating menus and options in the Settings, I cannot simply go back one menu using the back key. For example, if I go to Settings->Battery Manager->Battery Profile Options and want to go back to the Settings screen, I cannot.
Pushing the back button does nothing and I can only go back to the Settings menu by going Home, then re-entering.
Another quirk regarding the back button is when reading emails. Using a regular email account such as Hotmail, I cannot simply read an email and go back to the inbox using the button.
It makes navigating the phone very tedious.
Sometimes after working with Clockwork and doing some Nandroid backups/restores I find pictures and movies missing from my SD card.
