May 18, 2010Does anyone know how to get the number "1" to be your voicemail speed dial? I've done the 2.1 update, and saved the *86pXXXX# as the password, but the dialer won't got to voicemail when I actually press "1" on the dial pad. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Mar 25, 2010While using the speed dial widget that comes with the Eris, is there a way to put two contacts of the same person in, but with different numbers?For example,I want both my fiance's cell and his work number in those 9 slots, but I can only choose one as the default and if I go to add him in another slot, he isn't even available as a choice under my People.I can make him a wholly separate contact for his work info obviously, but I was just wondering if there was a sleeker way?

May 14, 2010has anyone noticed that post OTA the speed dial no longer works? i had speed dials set up before the update and they worked fine. after the update whenever i try to set speed dials they just don't stick. everything seems to work fine, but after i hit save they just don't register.

May 5, 2010So as the title states, I'm an idiot and delted everything off of my SD card. The idiot part comes from me getting all gitty about the 2.1 v3 update, not thinking about the pictures and videos that I didn't back up (my music and ROMs already were backed up) and deleting my SD card purposely to get rid of all the old, unneccesary files and folders. Anyways, is there anyway to get these old files back? I've seen another post about a file recovery program but it wasn't very specific.

Nov 24, 2009When I got my new Eris, the Verizon guy offered to swap my contacts from my old phone to the new one (as usual). He did so. After getting home, I noticed he'd also downloaded all the accumulated contacts 9 mostly crap) from my Google Mail account as well. I went and deleted them all but now I keep getting a notification saying that I deleted TOO MANY? It then gives me three choices, one of which is delete them. The notification keeps coming back.

Feb 17, 2010When you want to make a call - you press the phone button and the phone dial buttons pop up and on the top some names from the contact list. You can roll down to get the full list of contact names to select from...
My problem is that this dial list is too sesnsetive : it is enough to touch a name and puff it starts dialing right away. This way I started call by accident people that I did not really want to call. Can this smart dial be made less touch sensetive. Or better: an option when the phone will respond "do you want to call this person?" or something
