Motorola Droid X :: Not All PDFs Are Opening?
Nov 9, 2010I can open some PDFs and can't open others. Tried QuickOffice, Docs To Go, and Adobe PDF reader with the same results. I have a rooted Droid X.

General :: Opening Zinio PDFs - Password Protected
Oct 3, 2013I was digging around in Zinio app folder on my tablet and it appears that each page of a magazine is stored as a PDF. When I try to open it, it says it's password protected. Is the password floating around or is there a way to open the file without the password?

Nov 16, 2010I have a Droid X running Froyo. It's rooted. I really want to organize all my apps into folders but lately different folders have been refusing to open. I click on them and they just don't open. Sometimes it's all of them and sometimes it's just one. If I restart it usually fixes the problem but sometimes I just have to wait for a bit. This is very annoying. I'm not using an alternative launcher or anything. Just the regular Motorola Droid X OS. Just rooted. Any ideas guys? Please let me know. I really want to get things organized again.

Nov 25, 2009I was trying to open the Messaging app by tapping the green talking bubble icon labeled "Messaging," and repeatedly, as in 5-6 times, it loaded the Gmail app instead. I rebooted my phone and now it's working.

Nov 29, 2010Droid X gmail app: it used to go straight to my gmail INBOX whenever I selected the 'Gmail' app, but now whenever I have a Gmail notification and select the 'Gmail' app it goes to my account list and I have to select my Gmail account to get to the inbox even though I only have 1 account. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to make it go straight to the Inbox instead of the account list every time I select the Gmail app?

Aug 3, 2010I've been plugging in my DroidX to my computer to do different things (root, transfer files, etc). Whenever I do, it causes the web browser to automatically open and start playing an annoying "helpful video" from the Verizon site. Does anyone know how to make it stop loading? Obviously I can close it out, but it is really annoying. I have root, so I can access the internal memory and delete the offending file. I just don't know which one to remove.

Mar 2, 2014II have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. I'm mostly using it to do all my uni readings/annotations. When I clicked on a PDF on my university page, it downloaded & delivered itself to the download app.
Within the PDF are links to online journal articles that I need to access. However when I have the PDF opened (I was reading it in Kindle) I can't click on any of the links/hypertexts.
So I guess my questions are:
1. How do I get my links back to being clickable!
2. If this involves opening it in a different app, which ones is best?
3. Any other tips for a literally brand new android user...or links?

Dec 17, 20091. Tried opening a PDF file (2mb) on my gmail application. Tried to open "PDF Viewer" and it said "file can not be viewed. I know the PDF is a good file because it opened just fine on my computer. I have tried to open other PDF's and they work just fine. Any suggestions?
2. Tried to open a video as a wmv file on my gmail application. Loaded fine with sound only, no video. Any Suggestions?

HTC Droid Eris :: Opening Forwarded Mail On Phone
May 27, 2010I have several users at work who have the HTC Droid Eris. We allow our users to connect to our work email via IMAP. We have an issue where when a users receives forwarded email, they can't open it. It give them the option to save to the SD card, but when you click again on it, it still only gives you that option. I tried one of our users, who has the new incredible, and it works on his once he saves it to the sd card, it gives the option to open. Has anyone gotten this issue before, or is there a work around for it.

Also sometimes I notices that the keyboard is a little laggy and the text doesn't show up on the screen until I minimize the keyboard.Has anyone else had these problems or know of a fix?Also on a side note how to I save pictures sent to me in mms to my media card?

Many of these lists have hundreds of recipients. When I open these e-mails on my phone I often have pages of recipients to scroll through before I ever get to the message.
