View 10 RepliesSo. Hulu works kind of on the skyfirfe browser. Thought? Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI thought with the arrival of Flash 10 on Droid X I would be able to watch videos on Hulu. I tried to do the about:debug that has been discussed before but I can't. Is there another way to watch Hulu on your Droid X? Am I completely missing something?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI read that hulu is blocked on our phones, and someone said to try netflix instead. Well, I have a netflix account and it sounded like a great way to stream something for the kids when we're stuck waiting.Am I missing something? Has anyone gotten either of these to stream on their droid?I'm rooted and running BB v0.4 if that makes any difference.

I downloaded it and I'm going to give it a shot. I'll report back with my opinions after a couple days. Finally some mobile TV other than Verizon's crappy Vcast!
As some may know or not know Pete will be focusing on an update for BB. He has put off working on darkedge for know but is looking for help with porting themes. Pete Go Pete V1.1
View 37 Replies View RelatedI don't know how the whole app thing works.I hit market d/l play and delete if I don't like it. When I do this with windows a little bit of each program remains on my computer. Does the same thing happen with apps on my phone? Do I need to reformat my phone every now and then to clean it up like I do my computers?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried this app on my DX (rooted and 2.2) I changed it from 240 (default) to 200. search the market for "LCD Density Changer".

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just updated to version 2.1 and noticed my push Gmail wasnt working. I then went into the Google Mail application and can see its not showing any emails in the inbox and its not downloading any mail in "All items" either. Its only showing emails prior to the update. If I hit refresh it spins for a few moments and I see the data arrows indicate transfer but it doesnt refresh the inbox.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI simply love my docking station for my DROID.but I also want to protect my fone while on the go from any accidents so I also want a protective case for it.The case I bought won't let me put it in the docking station in the case. IS there any fone protection that will allow me to put it in the station without having to take it out of the every time?I would think this would make the case not stay on so well from repeatedly taking it off and putting it back on.The case I bought, unfortunately, did not come with screen protection like I thought it would. It's simply an empty front. Therefore does anybody have a suggestion as to what case covers the whole thing to avoid screen scratches?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI did the search and found 3 threads all worthless. I don't care about legalities. I just want a working call recorder for the Motorola Droid. Please3 don't start rambling in this thread about legalities I don't care it's not for use in court only for HOA meetings.
View 4 Replies View Relatedjust wondering if it works well? and if the custom LED light with the app actually works?
View 44 Replies View RelatedAnybody know if the Droid works with the Polaroid Pogo? I saw this device at radioshack and thought it might be fun to have around if I can get it cheaply.
View 18 Replies View RelatedMy power/lock button no longer works. Phone hasn't been dropped, only had it for 3 days and it's been babied. I hoped pulling the battery and rebooting might help, but it didn't. In fact, after that the only way to get it to reboot was to plug it into my computer via USB.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use to have an Iphone and finally upgraded to my Droid. But thing that i havent figured out how to work is Yahoo messenger to SMS to my droid.
On Iphone, if a friend on yahoo messenger SMS'ed me a text from within it i got it just fine as a txt msg and can reply back, but on the droid, when u send the sms messege, my droid doesnt get anything.
I tested with AIM and Live messenger and seemed to work but yahoo doesnt.
If anyone has a yahoo account and droid can u please test to see if it works for u?
Regular phone to phone sms works fine too.
My sleep button no longer works (water damage) and I am looking for a lock widget to lock the screen.
View 7 Replies View RelatedFrom the Cnet review, it looks like the unit doesn't come with a screen protector. What kind works good with a capacitive screen? I have a Hero now, but no protector on it. But with the Droid X's monster screen, I will need one.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI got my DX almost two weeks ago, and immediately ordered the Motorola Car Dock. When you dock it, and it goes into car dock mode, it has a "My Location" button, which takes you to a google map with some overlayed buttons (some kind of skin, essentially). You can select "Nav" on that screen, but it does not take you to the Google Nav app, instead it opens up a dialog box, where you can enter your destination. Then it will work like Google Nav. It really stinks that if you return to the cardock home screen, to change your music or something, when you come back to the My Location> Nav, you will have to re-enter your destination.
Another huge frustration from the lack of integration with the Google Nav app, is when you use the standard Google Nav App (like set a destination, before you leave the house), and then get in the car and enter car dock mode, you can not access your current Nav through car dock mode. You can still get back to it, but you have to exit "car dock mode", and open the Google Nav App. Anyone have any solutions to this? If it were possible, the simplest thing would be to remove the "My Location" button and replace it with a shortcut to the Google Nav App. It does not appear that you can change any of the preset buttons. There is one button that you can set, but I have it set for Pandora, since I use it frequently.
I had to change my password on gmail. Did it on the computer and it works but on the Droid I get a message saying user name or password incorrect. Anyone else have this problem and find a fix?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a cheap old bluetooth headset that worked great with my Q9c. Now I want to use it with the DX for podcast. It paired and connected just fine. And I can make phone call with it. However, it won't play any media audio (Google Listen, Pandora, etc.).
In bluetooth setting the device is connected to phone audio. Does it need to be connected to something like "media audio"? Is it just the limitation of my BT headset or I can work around it by tweaking a setting on the phone?
Alright guys, please bear with me as I'm new to the Droid, Android, and GPS capability in my phone. I downloaded Beautiful Widgets (totally awesome, by the way) and I just want to confirm how the GPS toggle widget works since it seems to just be a shortcut to a setting in the OS as opposed to the wifi and Bluetooth toggle widgets which do their own thing. When you tap the GPS toggle widget it, it takes you the "location & security settings" part of the OS settings. I'm assuming that at this point you either check/uncheck the "Use GPS satellites" to turn on/off the GPS chip in this phone? Can I leave it unchecked and just before I need to get some directions or navigation, turn it back on? What I'm getting at is: Can I turn it on and off according my need for it at any given moment?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI use the Motorola car dock currently and while it works great (using DockNothingness to prevent car mode from coming on, anyhow ), I'd like something that I can keep connected to the car charger all the time and just drop the Droid into. I have a charger plugged in and have the cable run up behind my dash to come out right behind the dock so I can just reach up and plug it in, but I'd rather not even have to do that. This way, between that and Bluetooth support in my head unit I can just drop the Droid in the dock and drive.
So I'm thinking a couple of things. Does anyone know of a car mount that works this way by default? If not, can anyone with the multimedia docking station tell me how tightly the Droid sits in that? I might just buy one and try to mount that in the car instead, but obviously it defeats the purpose if the Droid is going to go flying on every bump.
I think everyone who upgraded should test this out right away. I was taking pictures last night with my flash, and I noticed that even though the LED comes on, it turns off again the instant before the shutter closes. This problem is reproducible 100% of the time, and happens whether the picture is taken with the shutter button or the new touch button. This has basically rendered the flash useless.
View 15 Replies View Related(Note I'm referring to the google Voice Search utility, not the Voice Dialer utlity)
So far: I've confirmed that 3 special voice commands work on my Droid X:
CODE:............
However, there are supposed to be more (from my research), but none of the following is working:
"Call <contact> mobile/work/home/etc" to call that contact
"Dial <number> " to dial the number
Has anyone discovered any other working voice commands?
So heres a random problem that started happening recently I used to be able to reboot my phone and it would work fine again, now I'm SOL. So my mic doesn't work when I make/recieve calls unless I turn on speakerphone. No one can hear me unless its in speaker mode. If I do a voice search, voice record, etc, nothing happens. The only way I can talk on my phone is if I'm on speaker phone. I've rebooted, tried inserting headphones into the headset jack and removing, etc. I guess my final step is to factory reset and see if that fixes it. Are there any known solutions? I did NOT change any configuration. Oh, and I should throw out there, that once in a blue moon it DOES work on regular phone. This is totally random.
View 5 Replies View Relatedhow the memory works on my orginial motorola droid (2.2). When I open the running services tab I see this on the bottom:
Other: 54MB in 3 Avail:19MB+45MB in 7
I'm wondering if someone can explain what this means. I assume this is all coming out of the 256MB of Ram the droid has? I was also installing app's and got a memory low warning aftering firefox beta that was 14MB in size. I gather that almost all the apps do not support installing to the SD card yet if ever. So of like the 100 apps I have installed is it likley that they are all taking up room of the RAM of the 256MB? I'm also wondering if there is a good app that shows you how much of your RAM is full with apps, so you know when you need to uninstall some etc. Like you are using 200MB out of 256MB or whatever.
I am not sure if my Droid camera is working correctly or if it is the software. I am using the app "shopsavvy that uses the camera to scan/focus on a bar code but the auto focus works hard to focus and sometimes can't. Is anyone else experiencing this or similar issues with the camera? Do I need to take it back for a replacement?
