My face is hitting the 7 key often and deleting my voicemail and some other keys. Is someone else facing that too? I can hide the dialpad and get rid of the problem for that call but often, you need the dial pad to call banks, etc Just wondering if anybody else is seeing this or am I the only one?

I do not want to have all my Facebook contacts in my Phone. I tried deleting them from my phone but it says that I have to delete them from Facebook in order to do so.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I've had the droid x for a little over a month now and I absolutely love it. I don't go a day without using it and I'm still trying to get everything customized to my liking. However I have had one issue since I received my phone. I seem to be hanging up on people with my face or either my phone is dropping calls like crazy. I took it in to the verizon store and the lady there had no idea what to do. My phone calls just end mid conversation with someone and I don't know if it's my face or if my droid x is dropping calls. It doesn't say anything like "call was lost" like it did on my old phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs it just me or are the keys a little too much on the skinny side? I am coming from an iPhone 3G and I found it much easier to type on that. I predominately type in portrait mode and I find myself having trouble with this keyboard, especially when it comes to the spacebar. This is a huge surprise actually. I was expecting it to be significantly easier because of the screen size, but it just isn't.
Maybe I just need to get more used to it. However, if this problem continues I think I'll have to return the phone because messaging and email are two of the biggest things for me. Can I download any other keyboard that have fatter keys? I tried Swiftkey which didn't really help. Does anyone have better keyboard on their Droid X?
Swype on the Droid X with 2.1 originally had a black keyboard with bigger keys to swype or type on. With Froyo, it's now showing as a white keyboard with smaller keys that looks look the Swype keyboard I had originally had on my Droid 1. Is this the "new" keyboard look for Swype on the Droid X or is there a way to bring back the old look before upgrading to Froyo on the Droid X? The version that is showing on the DX now is 1.64.40.9380.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout 10 minutes ago i tried to hit the home button and it didnt work. I proceded to push the back button and it worked to take to the home screen. I then tried the menu button and it worked. I then tried the search button and it didnt work.Is this a known problem and if so how do i fix it? If theres no fix will verizon give me a replacement?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had the Droid for a week now...I m droid number 2 the first one the touch screen would not work. I am coming from a Blackberry curve. The droid Im finding is hard to text on. I have to text one handed (don't ask why..) so the phyical keypad does me no good. Is there a way to make the keys bigger on the touchscreen? I did 2300+ texts last month so I really need it to be easier to hit the keys. Also i find the words I've already texted are very small compared to the BB curve anyone have any thoughts on that. This may be too much phone for me..i love the apps amd how superfast it it. but the texting is a issue.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got my first android phone, the droid x yesterday. Loving it so far but I've got a minor issue that drives me insane (even though it really is a non issue). I've got the volume keys on the right, and then the home and back keys at the bottom front. Whenever I click home or back, they do the home and back function, but also do volume up and volume down with every click. Its painfully annoying, because it vibrates and pops up the volume window over the top of everything, every time. And obviously, the home and back keys are two of the most clicked buttons on the phone, so its constantly going up n down. I think this also adds to battery drainage as its double functioning/working twice as much. Does anyone know of a way to disable the home lkey and back key from controlling my volume as well?

For me the problem would fix itself after opening and closing the hard keyboard a couple of times. But after I downloaded SweeterHome preview 2 they won't light up at all. Is there a timeout option im missing or something? Or is this a common problem with no fix?

What's happening, you say? Well, as the phone is being placed up to my ear, my ear is inadvertently touching the keypad of the phone and dialing. When I'm typing really fast and drag my fingers to type "saw" for example with just my left thumb I'll catch the bottom left of the W key while the A is pressed down and it'll lift up and make a popping noise. I'm worried eventually I'll snap the W off the keyboard.
